Wow! This needs to go in the thread, "Why Obama is the worst President ever!" Read it before it's banned.

Should any Navy chaplain be allowed to pray in the name of any deity?

Yes.
But, they can also be told what to say and not to say at times. A military chaplain being told to not focus on one religion's ideology isn't persecution. This tidbit of the case is a nonstory.
If you click the linked original story, you'll see that the reason Modder is being looked at for discharge because "on multiple occasions he discriminated against students who were of different faiths and backgrounds." That goes against the very essence of a chaplain's duty. This is a follow up story that basically says they found nothing to refute the Navy's claim so they are deflecting.

Yes, I know JB. I did read the story. I was responding to the part of the story TT highlighted, including his pointing out that the President is a Christian...which has less to do with the story than any of the rest of it.

Because this type of thing seems to be happening in different branches of our military every week. And that clown is suppose to be the "Commander in Chief". So it's happening under his watch and with his approval.

I forget...which part of our Constitution says that branches of the military are to reflect the religious views of the current President?
Re: More persecution of Christians
You're not only a libtard, but you're stupid too.

It's really not.

I think that is nowhere close to examining his point.

Re: More persecution of Christians
Just received this email. I have blanked out some names.
FROM SAMARITAN'S PURSE MINISTRY:
This was sent for prayer from ______ with Rapid Response Team.
Pray & pass to others.
Dear Friends
Just a few minutes ago the following text message was received
from ________ who leads Crisis Relief International (CRI). We then
spoke briefly on the phone and I assured him that we would share this
urgent prayer need with all of our contacts. "We lost the city of
Queragosh (Qaraqosh). It fell to ISIS and they are beheading children s
ystematically. This is the city we have been smuggling food to. ISIS
has pushed back Peshmerga (Kurdish forces) and is within 10 minutes of
where our CRI team is working. Thousands more fled into the city of
Erbil last night. The UN evacuated its staff in Erbil. Our team is
unmoved and will stay. Prayer cover needed!"
Please pray sincerely for the de
liverance of the people of
Northern Iraq from the terrible advancement of ISIS and its extreme
Islamic goals for mass conversion or death for Christians across this
region. May I plead with you not to ignore this email. Do not forward
it before you have prayed through it. Then send it to as many people
as possible. Send it to friends and Christians you may know. Send it
to your prayer group. We need to stand in the gap for our fellow
Christians.
Re: More persecution of Christians

Re: More persecution of Christians
More Yazidi Christians slaughtered and it didn't need to happen. Obama was forewarned 6 years ago about his disastrous mid east policies and didn't care. Just go back and read the "Obama's road to Damascus" thread. Chaos is his modus operandi. Where is Barack Obama, who started this snowball downhill, as this genocide continues? Maybe if an American black was killed he would be interested.
