Since New Mexico decided to vote "blue" in the presidential election earlier this month, maybe the state of Texas --a proud RED state-- should tell New Mexico to go screw themselves. Don't be voting stupid, and enacting stupid laws, and then expect to come to Texas and use our facilities and our friendly business climate to do your business.

5 days apart. December 19 and December 24.

I think in theory it's Texas coming out ahead here, right?
So even if you disagree with New Mexico's state guidelines, it's not that Frisco is simply doing them a favor. They're getting another (theoretically) money-making event.

LOL! Texas doesn't need New Mexico's pennies. Make 'em move the bowl game to California, or another "blue" state. Make 'em have to live with the stupidity of their decisions.

There are also 2 Bowls in Montgomery, AL, this year. ESPN moved what was supposed to be the inagural Fenway Bowl.

Send UAB to UTEP, Rice to Tech. Now you have 2 less teams sitting at home.

Too logical, which is probably why Conference USA won't consider it.
I will give the office credit if they actually do.
Re: 2020 Season - Covid Edition
I've seen articles this morning that the CDC is looking to change their quarantine guidelines soon. Looks like it might be 2 days after testing negative providing you wait 3 to 5 days after exposure to test. That would cut the quarantine time to 7 to 10 days after exposure. Maybe this will help with some of the scheduling problems.

Nick Saban has tested positive again, this time with symptoms.

Don't worry his legal team is researching loopholes as we speak. Expect him to coach in the Iron Bowl this weekend. Otherwise it looks like we will have to cancel all of college football this weekend.:laugh::laugh:
