I'm hearing the project is not going forward - Populous proposed a $20M project, Tech has only raised $14M. Anyone else heard this?

Well the fact that the project is not going forward is fairly obvious.

Hopefully they've decided to wait until we get ALL the new leadership in place after June 30.

Re: South Endzone Complex Daily Progress Report
Build / No Build. If we do build we have to carry some debt for some period of time and it keeps us in the hunt to be a competetive 1A program.
If we dont build, first what happens to the good faith donations ? Second, how confident are those same donors going to feel about giving in the future. Not to metion those that have pledged significant annual sums in addition to Q4E. Third, I think it basically relegates us to an Eastern Michigan type program. Fourth, what about the promise to C USA or future conference affiliation ? Fifth, what about staying competitive and attracting top recruits ?
Just stay the course, its happening, but it is definitely a turning point. All that said there are some very significant engineering challenges with this project. I don't know, maybe we'll hear something.
Re: South Endzone Complex Daily Progress Report
As I said before...Pass the hat down each row at every home game. Bet we could get a lot of donations. That is better than doing nothing!!!!!

It's hard to find an engineer to do any work when you can't pay them?! Lol

Maybe it isn't going to happen until Birnam Wood marches on Dunsinane Hill.
