No, Muller is still a POS liberal
Hillary was never investigated so she was not going to be charged.

These two things are very different.
The facts related to Hillary did not indicate there was no evidence (as laid out on national TV by Comey). As we know now, requests were made to him to change his description of her transgressions so that they would not rise to the level of criminality, and he dutifully did as he was told. She was NOT innocent....maybe it was white privilege that got her off?
There was no evidence that Trump engaged in those activities (which you really should have SOME evidence before starting a prosecution...don't you think?). He was presumed guilty and a fishing expedition was employed to try and find something/anything to tie him to something they really had no evidence he had anything to do with.
Trump was not my candidate (and Obama certainly was not), but he was elected to office in a free and fair election. This is a good day for America, and I hope they figure out how to flush the partisan poop out of our governmental bureaucracies.....because they came awfully close to destroying the country.
Just to add....what would the MSM and anti-Trumper (same thing..almost) narrative be if Muller's report had said the Russian "matter" indicated that Trump and others in his campaign had unwittingly provided, through carelessness, access to our electronic voting totals.....but no reasonable prosecutor would take such a case and he recommends nothing be done?
They don't have any obligation to "report the news". They exist ONLY to realize profit for shareholders. They will sell what sells.
Remember, if a thing is free for you, you're not the customer. Your attention is the product that's being sold.
So whether you consume MSM because you expect it to "report the news", or if you just enjoy the adrenaline rush from being outraged, it makes no difference to the advertisers, nor the shareholders. They got you either way.
Oh yes! look how the libtards are changing their tune . Now, CNN and the rest are not "the truth" (real Americans already knew that) they are just doing what it takes to keep advertisers. Notice too how this commie made sure to connect the fake news of CNN and MSNBC to "capitalism." This is too funny!!!!! Been telling you morons for years to watch FOX to get the truth...real news. But, nah! you chose to remain ignorant and believe the pure bullshit peddled by the lamestream media.
It's all the left has: lies. WAKE UP! join the rest of us in reality.
I doubt if the shareholders like the 275 million lawsuit CNN has against them for reporting fake news about Nick Sandman. CNN thought they were way too big for a "little unimportant" kid from Covington, Kentucky. I only watch CNN for laughs. They're so full of themselves that they could care less about reporting the news accurately. They feel like their agenda is more important.
I've never actively watched CNN nor MSNBC, so I wouldn't know what they say. But if they're not capitalist ventures, who's keeping the lights on? Are they run by volunteers?
Do you see advertisements on Fox News? If so, then you are the product being sold. They will say whatever they need to say to keep you entertained and tuned in. They're not on tv because of altruism. They are on the air to make money for stockholders.
So you listen to it? To get news or to be entertained?
In any case, the amount of actual public funding for "public broadcasting" is negligible. NPR is overwhelmingly paid for by underwriting (euphemism for advertising) and donors. But the underlying premise is the same -- they'll sell what sells. They'll give the people what they want.
Not arguing that point.
Point is CNN et al peddle lies because they know there are enough braindead morons to lap it up. It fits their political agenda, so they are willing to lie to advance their evil cause(s). The average shareholder is satisfied with a reasonable return on their investment. I would NEVER own stock in CNN or some similar entity, they are anti-American. I do hold stock in Altria, which is a cigarette company. I have never smoked, I despise it, but its use is confined to the morons STUPID enough to smoke, and that equity is a solid part of my portfolio.
But the bigger point is this: CNN and the rest of the lefty media LIES! Those of us who don't have our heads up our azz knew that. I just find it comical that those of you bashing FOX all these years are now admitting the truth.
But, that's okay. We welcome aboard all of you who cast away your libtardism and join us in righteous!
And you know that how? Did you tune in for news or for an outrage adrenaline rush? Either way, they got you.
Honestly, some of you fellas talk about MSM like the guy on the dog food commercials who says it tastes like real beef. How do you know unless you tried it?
I"ve been around long enough to know I guess. It only takes a few minutes of watching any of the big 3, CNN, MSNBC, or PBS to hear their message. Their message has always been slanted left and anti-america.
Again, your theory of "buying what they are selling" is not about supply and demand. It is about who has control of the media. The latest example is the fall of print media. When readers fianlly got another option they dropped the paper editions like a hot potato. Readers were never really "buying it". It was just a habit.
IF they have a flawed business model, why does it trouble you? Let the market sort it out.
I had a bad experience at IHOP once, and I never went back. If they make it, great. If they don't, great. The continued existence of IHOP doesn't affect me.
I prefer to get my groceries at the Krogers. But if my neighbor likes the Walmarts better, so what?
Why does it get you all hot and bothered that CNN exists? If you dont find it entertaining, dont watch it.
I think you misunderstand the complaint. I haven't heard anyone complain that they are owed unbiased reporting. More that people are frustrated that they present themselves as unbiased and there are people that actually fall for it. That wouldn't be an issue if the people dumb enough to eat it up didn't vote. But they do.
We agree on how to react. We disagree on why we react...to current event topics anyway.
My point on PBS was that there is no demand for them. They are there because of a false narrative spewed by the left. The right would cut that dead weight in a heart beat. Their audience is minimal and not market driven at all.
McDonalds presents itself as good food. But dumb people still eat it. Dodge presents itself as a reliable auto maker. But dumb people still drive them. And vote too.
Why does dumb people consuming shit media get conservatives in a tizzy, but nobody bats an eye at dumb people consuming shit burgers or trucks?
Even if all the biased media disappeared tomorrow, dumb people would still vote. Dumb people have been misled by other dumb people since Bible times, and there's nothing to be done about it. So why bunch one's pannies?
Large evidence to the contrary. My kids love Curious George.
So? Dont tune in. It neither breaks your leg nor picks your pocket.Quote:
They are there because of a false narrative spewed by the left.
They did. The public funding is neglible. Less than a drop in a bucket. Orders of magnitude beneath the tax breaks that get doled out to for-profit media concerns.Quote:
The right would cut that dead weight in a heart beat.
Large evidence to the contrary. I love Click & Clack (RIP).Quote:

My kids also pretty big fans. And you guys don't watch This Old House? Or America's Test Kitchen?
Haven't you guys seen Won't You Be My Neighbor?
I used to love to watch LPB on Saturday mornings, this was awesome long before the Food Network

Wish I could still get that here in TX.
You answered your own question. People buying McDonalds and Dodge doesn't affect me and honestly I would prefer people be able to buy whatever stupid shit they want to. I am happy for people to consume whatever shit media they want as well. You are correct that people have been manipulated by charlatans since Bible times. It's nothing to get in a tizzy about. Part of the reason I think the "Russia" nonsense was overblown since the beginning. It's nothing new and it's gone on in probably almost every American election ever. What i have a problem with is people smart enough to know better claiming it doesn't affect me or trying to claim that it's not happening.
I
Try One America News (OAN). They separate the news from the opinion and you get some news other than the political fight of the day.
Please, one of you socialist try to defend what CNN and the other MSM is saying about getting rid of Obamacare. You got NOTHING!
It wasn't a turnout issue in '18. Trump hate was the turnout issue, but you know that.
Actually Trump brought this up before Pelosi and Schumer began the Obamacare mantra to deflect from the Trump/Russia witch hunt. The people who want this Obamacare mess don't know what they have now or what they want.
Back to some good news...
For the first time in history a nation's GDP grew by $1 trillion. Yes, that was the US in 2018. That's okay, and a milestone, but it represented only a 2.9% growth rate. Not bad, but after two years Trump is lagging behind Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, who had the top two 8-year runs for any POTUS in our history, in terms of economic growth rate. I don't think Trump will enjoy such a run in growth, but if he can get the average to 3% over 8 years, that will be great. We just slogged through the worst 8-year run of any POTUS in history, an anemic annual 1.7% growth rate.
Need to understand, Trump is dealing with a much larger economy than either Clinton or Reagan had, so successes, like that $1 trillion growth, represents a smaller percentage. When Reagan left office the GDP was $5.6 trillion, Clinton left at $10.2 trillion, and our 2018 GDP was $20.4 trillion.

That is what historically low interest rates over 10 years will do.
But it couldn't do it in the 8 years of the Obama administration, right? How do you spin that so as to excuse your hero?
Be careful G Man. You're losing what little credibility you had (if you ever had any). The jig is up, man. You really need to stop drinking that corrupt DC establishment kool-aide. At this point, they're making total asses of themselves. You're doing the same thing when you refuse to accept the fact that everything you want to believe about Obama, Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and all the other FBI and CIA criminals is nothing but a big damn lie. It's always been nothing but a lie, and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker. They used and abused you just like they did the rest of the country. The good news is that it's payback time now, and those criminals are going to pay dearly.
the ole, "I'm not a demmy" spinmeister trying so hard to make their POS POTUS look good. And that is quite the mountain to climb!!!
If anything, obummer benefitted from the natural bounce in employment coming out of that dem-induced mortgage crisis. But, that's it. The numbers are in, confirmed, obummer's 8 years was the worst in US history for any president. Period.
Just wanted to mention my son and his family are at the WH Easter egg roll this morning. We have a "high up" in the administration who got them a special invitation. Last night they met President Trump and our wonderful First Lady. They will be participating in the 6:30am (our time) roll so they can make their flight back to Houston this afternoon.
1st Quarter 2019 GDP grew 3.2%. That is very good!
Thanks President Trump.
Ya know, sometimes we need to be reminded of things...
all this talk about Trump trying to obstruct justice (as if the libs give a rat's ass about justice) is laughable. He has been the most open, transparent POTUS in our lifetimes and perhaps in the entire history of the USA. Who wasn't? Well, obummer for one.
I had forgotten that obummer declared "executive privilege" when subpoenaed by Congress for documents about Fast & Furious. Now those documents are locked up for some period of time, not to be less than obummer's death. In other words, obummer can never be prosecuted for the wanton treason he and Holder committed selling automatic weapons to the Mexican Drug Cartels.
Where is the outrage? Why don't we see Goosey demanding a release of all documents related to Fast & Furious? And the same thing re: Benghazi. We know why, the good lib Goosey doesn't want to see his favorite politicians end up in prison.
Ray - waiting on you to now post the downward revisions on the March and April job reports and the pitiful May job report. You are usually very fast to post.
Initial May job report is disappointing, 75,000 new jobs created. It will be probably be revised up a little once all the data is in. But even so, the number will be low. Is this just the roaring economy catching its breath before another surge to come? Maybe. But most pundits think it is a combination of a natural, to be expected, lull and pushed lower by the unknown effects of the controversary of the trade "war" talk, the proposed tariffs on China and Mexico, and of course how the commie media spins everything.
YES! it is true, media aside, it is understandable that business would take a self-generated halt on the rapid expansion, the BOOM! until such matters as the tariffs are settled. Makes business sense to pause and wait for additional information before proceeding. Business people ARE THE SMARTEST PEOPLE IN THE ROOM. It is prudent to use a hiring freeze and see how things play out. This is part of THE PAIN we all expected from Trump's tough stance against those engaged in unfair trade practices with the US. Have to break eggs to make an omelet. Which is more the reason the lousy Dems, and their willing allies the RINOs need to stop playing politics and get with President Trump, present a united front, get China and Mexico to amend their policies, and let's ALL move forward together.
But I suspect, since the Dems, RINOs, the Gooseys of the world hate Trump more than they love America, they will relish the chance to hurt real Americans to deal Trump a political set-back.
BTW...even with this temporary (and it is temporary) lull in the expansion of the job market, unemployment remains at historic lows, 3.6%, which is better than "full employment."
Thanks to President Trump.
And he will get the train rolling forward again.
:shocked2: What!!
:shocked2: What!!
Art of the Negotiation
Mexico has agreed to take steps to deal with the illegal immigration crisis on their side of the border, and as a result of this signed agreement, the tariffs have been shelved. Since Goosey and his fellow libs have been screaming about how much damage the tariffs will do to average Americans they should be rejoicing and congratulating our awesome President! He's done it again.
Of course, we shall see how the Mexicans do to uphold their side of the bargain...
Your TDS is once again in full display. You would literally be against a cure for cancer if it was President Trump that discovered it.
Man, try to find a little bit of joy in life, Guiss. President Trump has won yet again. That's good news! Join us and rejoice in this victory in our nation's quest for border security.
Read the report Guisslapp!!
Even the Washington Post likes it.
How Mexico talked Trump out of tariff threat with immigration crackdown pact
Mexican negotiators persuaded President Trump to back down from his tariff threat by agreeing to an unprecedented crackdown on Central American migrants and accepting more-expansive measures in Mexico if the initial efforts don’t deliver quick results, according to officials from both governments and documents reviewed by The Washington Post.
The enforcement measures Mexico has promised include the deployment of a militarized national guard at the Guatemalan border, thousands of additional migrant arrests per week and the acceptance of busloads of asylum seekers turned away from the U.S. border daily, all geared toward cutting the migrant flow sharply in coming weeks. The measures, described by officials from both sides and included in Mexican negotiating documents reviewed by The Post, appear to be more substantial than what the Mexican government has attempted thus far during the precipitous rise in migration to the U.S. border.
Since heralding the pact in a Friday night tweet, Trump has fumed at criticism that he capitulated to Mexico and that his accord amounts to a series of previously agreed-to measures.
[Mexico aimed to avoid tariffs with deal limiting migrants going north]
Trump officials Monday described the accord as a breakthrough, and the president considered Mexico’s plan aggressive enough to suspend his tariff threat, even though he liked the idea of imposing the duties over howls from members of his own party.
U.S. officials say they were particularly impressed with Mexico’s pledge to deploy up to 6,000 national guard troops to its border region with Guatemala. Mexico described its plan to U.S. officials as “the first time in recent history that Mexico has decided to take operational control of its southern border as a priority,” according to Mexican government documents.

Sounds like what Mexico had already agreed to do in March.
1. That was still under Trump's administration so he gets credit
2. Why didn't they (Mex govt) do anything if they agreed to it back in March, it was only under the threat of tariff's that resulted in action by Mexican govt. I think Trump should put a 10% tax on all money sent via money gram or wired to Mexico and Central America.. That would add up to a tidy sum..
6 million Americans were hired in the month of April. That's the best single month total in 20 years. Yes, have to go back to 1999, under Billy Boy Klinton to find the last time we've seen numbers like that. But, hey, I have given Klinton credit for presiding over a robust economy. He did.
Now, the May jobs' report was disappointing: NEW JOBS CREATED. But this economy has been booming for two years now and millions of new jobs have been created...they haven't all been filled just yet.
Roll on!
Trump just got clowned by the Federal Election Commission. He is such an embarrassment - unethical and no respect for the rule of law or the principles of our country.
That's the funny part. MSM and Dems are screeching about what Trump said in interview with Georgie, yet Hillary and the Democrats actually did receive opposition research from Russia and other countries. DNC even went to Ukraine and got dirt to get Manafort kicked off Trump campaign. Their lack of self-awareness and hypocrisy hits new levels every day.
You should go on MSNBC and CNN with the rest of those fools. Anytime I'm down and need a laugh, I can go over there and get a good one. You would look just like them if you were on there. Trump does this kind of stuff just to watch those fools go crazy. I wonder if Hillary will think it's funny when Barr brings down an indictment on her for paying for that dossier. Barr already has proof that Steele was working with the state dept. Lock her up!
Believe me, Barr and Durham are going to indict a bunch of your buddies. This is going all the way to Obama. This is serious stuff, members of the FBI, CIA, DOJ, and State department conspired to overthrow a presidential candidate and then conspired to overthrow him after he was in elected. This conspiracy has already been documented. From what I've read about Durham, you don't want him after you.
According to your logic, a candidate violates election laws if they spend any money during their campaign that goes into a foreign account. That is not the issue.
The problem lies in accepting something of value (that you didn’t pay fair market value for) from a foreign national.
You are falling for a very poor attempt of right wing media to obfuscate what Trump did wrong.
52 U.S.C. Section 30121 (a)(2), reads: "It shall be unlawful for a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation... from a foreign national."
"Let me make something 100% clear to the American public and anyone running for public office: It is illegal for any person to solicit, accept, or receive anything of value from a foreign national in connection with a U.S. election. This is not a novel concept. Electoral intervention from foreign governments has been considered unacceptable since the beginnings of our nation. Our Founding Fathers sounded the alarm about 'foreign Interference, Intrigue, and Influence.' They knew that when foreign governments seek to influence American politics, it is always to advance their own interests, not America's. Anyone who solicits or accepts foreign assistance risks being on the wrong end of a federal investigation. Any political campaign that receives an offer of a prohibited donation from a foreign source should report that offer to the Federal Bureau of Investigation."
Buying information from foreigners = bad form, ill-advised, impolitic
Accepting free information from foreigners = illegal
The issue comes down entirely to improper foreign influence on our elections. When a foreign government offers help to one candidate, that is the most extreme negative thing these laws were designed to prevent.
Hiring a foreign national to do some contract work does not raise the same specter of concern at all.
LOL. Doublespeak if I've ever heard it.
OK, give them a buck on the way out. All is well now!
And to think that when I heard Trump say this I was thinking "Hey, no way. Keep them out of our elections". Took a partisan tribal parrot like yourself to make me see the virtue in it. Just pay for it....got it.
Not even remotely the same thing. What Trump said he would do was blatantly illegal.
And don’t forget, the FBI was actually given the Steele Dossier.
“You can pay a foreign national to provide you with services, so a campaign, for instance, could have a campaign attorney who is a Canadian citizen,” Levinson said. “As long as you pay fair market rates for those services, that’s not what the federal campaign act says is prohibited. That’s just a fair exchange of money for services.”
If this kind of seems like a loophole, experts pointed out that it would be really hard to run a campaign otherwise. It would mean having to worry if the campaign signs you printed came from a foreign company, or if the catering firm you hired had foreign workers.
If a campaign is paying someone for work or services, they’re being compensated. But where that doesn’t happen, and a campaign is accepting a contribution — or “thing of value” — from a foreign government, the question then is what’s in it for them?

You guys have really gotten your brains misshapen by the right wing spin-cycle.
No, you've gotten so brainwashed by the dem (not even left wing....it's actually much dumber than that) spin machine that you come here and quote a partisan member of the FEC (Weintraub) and act like this is the last and only word on the subject. Shows that you can be pulled in any direction they choose to pull you. You are the princess and Trump is your pea....because that is what they want.
I guess there's a great partisan reason why Hillary's tribe was able to sort through her e-mails that had been subpoenaed and just turn over the ones SHE deemed relevant (the rest were deleted, bleachbitted and offending hardware was hammered and destroyed. I am SURE you see no issue with that, either.
