It's mind boggling WHY the American voters continue keeping
these people in office. Any member of the house or senate that
refuse to stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance in the
Chambers should be escorted out by the Sergeant at Arms
until they comply. If your allegiance is not with this country
and our flag, just who is it with?

FBI DEPUTY DIRECTOR ANDREW MCCABE SUDDENLY QUITS

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has reportedly resigned from his position, effective today.
The news comes just days after it was revealed McCabe’s name appeared in the GOP memo alleging surveillance abuse of Trump campaign officials during the Obama administration. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and former FBI Director James Comey were also named in the memo.
McCabe’s resignation also comes just after government watchdog Judicial Watch revealed the FBI had refused to turn over text messages belonging to McCabe.
NBC News reports that McCabe will stay on the FBI’s payroll on “terminal leave” until he is officially eligible for retirement in March.
McCabe, who took charge of the FBI after President Trump fired Comey in early 2017 and before the Senate confirmed Christopher Wray’s nomination to lead the federal agency, had planned to retire from the FBI by March. But his sudden resignation Monday came as a surprise to many.
President Trump has blasted McCabe in recent weeks and months, particularly concerning his actions during the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
As WND reported, McCabe’s wife received more than $700,000 in campaign donations for her failed state senate campaign from two PACs, including one controlled by a Hillary Clinton ally. Still, McCabe refused to recuse himself from the Clinton email investigation until just one week before the presidential election.
In July 2017, Trump tweeted: “Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!”

So Trump said McCabe received $700k from HRC? I thought the article said a supporter of H made campaign contributions to his wife’s campaign? How is that remotely the same thing as the FBI deputy director getting paid by HRC?

If the issues related to the tarmac meeting between Billy and Loretta and Comey's letter excusing the "matter" before interviewing her and what we've found out since from the texts of those two FBI lovebirds (that Loretta already knew Comey was going to excuse her conduct when she said she would follow his recommendation and that Comey lied before congress when he said NOBODY knew what he was going to say about the case) aren't enough to make you question anything related to her, him and the rest of them, then you are willfully being ignorant. Whew! That's a lot of stuff (and there is more).

Just wondering why folks in the private sector have to work till they are very old (you know, like the folks the dems say they represent) and McCabe and other government types retire with their pension and likely retiree medical at age 49. So for the rest of his days, he will be collecting the taxes of the poor sap busting his chops in some factory or picking up garbage cans in front of his house until he is 70 or drops dead. This kind of taxpayer abuse makes me sick.

Executives in large private companies do even better, if you happen to be an executive at that age.

I don't know what you mean by "private", but I do know publicly traded companies have executive compensation packages that are voted on by the shareholders and none of that comes from taxpayers. Pure "private" companies have salaries and benefits known only to them.

And the CEO types I've known work less for the money than the thrill of working, and would probably prefer to be carried out in a box. When you and I are sleeping or having family time or shopping or whatever, they are normally obsessing over their job. Most of these folks are not the greedy people they are made out to be (and even I think they are well over compensated), but they are folks that basically sold their lives to the highest bidder.

I am not complaining about their compensation, but it is a joke to suggest that shareholders would exercise any control of it - certainly no more control over executive compensation than taxpayers have over the compensation of our officials or the leaders of government agencies.

But the same rationale used to justify payment of executive talent in the private world also applies to the administration of agencies. If there was not good salary and benefits, these folks would work for much better pay in the private world.

And if the private executives truly work for their love of the job, why do they need such high salaries?

And you don’t have to convince me that CEO types work long hours. I have seen it first hand and have seen it at many levels of management in many professional spheres.
