His anti-establishment stances will haunt him. I love his "Washington Cartel" references. Bob Dole hating on him...gotta love that.
That story about Bob Dole is crazy! Dole, McCain, Lindsey Graham etc. and the establishment have just killed the GOP.

When concerns like these arise, I do my best to give the benefit of the doubt. But, this was more than one mistake. It was a series of events, innuendo, tweets, etc. And in a dynamic climate like the Iowa caucuses, it could have made a huge (yuge) difference. And let's not pretend that conservatives wouldn't be quick to assume and accuse if something like this happened in the other party.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
He only apologized only after getting called out and trying to explain it away failed.
Still, that is better than just about every other politician.

What? Is it the fact that he keeps...or heretofore, has kept his campaign promises?
ALL of the "establishment" is afraid of Cruz. And don't fool yourself, the REAL "establishment" knows no party affiliation. Of course the commie side of the establishment hates Cruz, fears what he'll do as POTUS. He will dismantle a lot of the unconstitutional bureaucracy, and return this country to a Constitutional Republic, and his Supreme Court nominees, oh yeah! For the right side of the establishment, the RINOs and those that benefit monetarily from the current system, also fear a Cruz admin. So, both sides are mounting smear campaigns against him. That is exactly what makes him attractive to the ever-dwindling numbers of true Americans.
Other than the orchestrated smear campaigns, I don't see why the average American voter would dislike Cruz. Why? He is honest, personable, conservative... I like him.

It's really a non-issue that the establishment is jumping on in panic mode. Cruz scares both sides. The series of events are the series of events that happen with any drama in today's world of social media.

I worry that Cruz's schtick will get him crucified by the leftist media. He practically invites it. I think it works well as an oppositional senator. It won't help in a national election. That said, I could gladly go vote for Cruz if he's the guy. I just think Rubio is a far better choice.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Likewise, I would vote for Rubio.
It's a shame that the best looking person gets the nod for being "more electable".
Cruz has a screwed up nose and an annoying voice. That's a reason not to like him.;)
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
O'Malley dropped out on Iowa caucus night. Huckabee, too. Paul just dropped as well.

You do realize he retweeted the CNN info., right? I would think that someone should be asking CNN why they reported that.

What does Rubio offer besides the establishment? I will NOT vote for that guy unless he is the only choice. He is an open boarder, bring them all in guy. There is no way he will keep us safe.
