1. Wudtee hasn't signed anywhere else yet. I'm not sure why everyone is writing him off already. We've fended off P5 schools for recruits before (especially late(ish) in the process).
2. Our coaches better not be scrambling. They know how this game works. Holtz has been doing this too long to have put all his eggs in one basket. "Heavily committed" or not. This ain't his first rodeo.

You can act all hurt about this, but you know it's true.
You are on a P5 high horse, get a life loser.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
As for as QBs go, Tech has done fairly well over the years (decades):
Mickey Slaughter
Terry Bradshaw
Denny Duron
Keith Thibodeaux
Matt Dunigan
Jason Martin
Tim Rattay
Luke McCown
and our back to back one-year wonders
Cody Sokol
Jeff Driskel
I think we'll be fine at QB going forward.
By contrast, some of the most elite P5 programs, namely Bama and LSU, can't seem to solve the QB problem. Maybe they need to hire this Okie State fan as a consultant to get some kids in "P5 shape."

Are you still talking? Dude, just fade back into the shadows. No one cares what you think.

Don't bring your mom into this.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
Can someone please give me a list of successful Okie State QBs? Other than Brandon Weeden, I obviously know he is an exceptional QB.

The ones that have led them to Big 12 titles?
Re: 2016 Football Commitments

87. Jeff Driskel (4,026)
Career passing yards:
18. Tim Rattay (12,746)
20. Luke McCown (12,666)
138. Brandon Weeden (9,260)

How did our guys perform against the likes of Nebraska, Baylor, and Oklahoma State?
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
Timmy Terrific had a pretty good day vs. Nebraska. Heck! just one of his receivers set an NCAA record that day with 405 receiving yards.
Luke beat Okie State with THREE length of the field TD drives in the 4th qtr
Matt Dunigan had good games vs. Baylor and aTm
Colby Cameron had a pretty good night vs aTm too
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
I couldn't find Baylor, but here's Nebraska and OSU...
Nebraska:
- Rattay: 46-68, 590 yds, 4 TDs, 1 Int
- Champion / Mosely: 13-32, 255 yds, 1 TD, 1 Int
OSU:
- McCown: 38-66, 448 yds, 3 TDs, 0 Int
- McCown: 29-54, 286 yds, 1 TD, 2 Int

It's not true. It's a myth propagated by P5 schools. There are usually 2 or 3 good teams in each P5 conference, the rest are physically similar to G5 schools.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
The Big 12 especially is known for being soft.
