You can trust them to do what they think is best to further their agenda. It is also true that we need their cooperation on certain issues, which requires a certain deftness in foreign policy that was outside the capacity of our previous clown president.

If you opened your mind to the possibility that the world is complex and not divided into two sides - good and evil - you could learn to appreciate the importance of pragmatism and common sense over tribal/cult-of-personality ideology. Maybe it is harder for religionists.

I never said that didn’t happen. But another factor is that plants were not allowed to operate at full capacity without federal approval. So even being deregulated, they were still limited by the Feds in the amount of power they could produce. They were granted permission by the DOE to increase volume on Feb 14.
