thanks, i saw that it did cross my mind but i didn't think it looked much like a nursing home

Yep, that's the new West Monroe Guest House, currently located across from walmart, behind the less new chick-fil-a. It doesn't look like a nursing home, but that's the point. They're going to a less institutionalized setting. Anyone who's seen The Glen in Shreveport, it's going to be along those lines.

Interesting. I didn't know it was replacing that one. That means some high dollar property is about to become available. Wonder if they will be able to get better access than they have now.

Looking at the Lincoln Parish GIS, that land hasn't been sold. It may be the owner clearing/leveling it as they've done on the other land around there.
