Depends on how closely bunched teams are in RPI above and below.

Today the loss has the possibility to drop Tech more RPI positions than a win could have improved Tech's RPI position.

But a win always helps and a loss always hurts the RPI calculation just because of the 25% for a team's own weighted W-L pct.

Would have been nice! Good game, just came up on the short end of the score board!

I was never excited about the "ranking" because I know (like I did with Navy in after two losses in a row) that we are not a top 25 team.

So disappointing that Tech seemingly never wins the big game. In this case just a matter of not hitting the ball.
