I have a friend who is from that province where Wuhan is. Her family lives (lived...past tense) in a village about 20 miles from Wuhan. She has not had any contact with her parents or siblings since December, 2019. Her travel visa has been denied by the Chicom authorities on several occasions. Even the US State Department denied her request for them to intervene on her behalf and ask, beg, threaten the Chicoms to grant her permission to travel to her home to learn the fate of her family. All the messages, letters, whatever she has tried have all disappeared into a black hole, no responses at all. She had heard from a friend, who also had family there, that all the villagers had been herded into trains and taken away to who knows where! But she has no confirmation of any of it.

This is the nature of the evil commie bastards' regime! This is what they are capable of! But in a matter of weeks virologists Bruno Coutard and colleagues published their discovery of the sequence in CoV-2 and its novel supercharged site. Double CGG is there; you only have to look. They comment in their paper that the protein that held it “may provide a gain-of-function” capability to the virus, “for efficient spreading” to humans.
There is additional scientific evidence that points to CoV-2’s gain-of-function origin. The most compelling is the dramatic differences in the genetic diversity of CoV-2, compared with the coronaviruses responsible for SARS and MERS.

obummer cut off the funding to that Chinese woman researcher when she was at UNC. That was good but then the obummer admin allowed her to leave with all the data and specimens, and she turned up at the Wuhan Lab. It takes a purposeful setting aside of reality to think there is no connection to what eventually happened. Fauci was involved in it up to and through the release of the deadly virus and the cover-up. Now, it is possible Fauci is just a gullible puss who got played by the Chicoms; he comes across as a willy-nilly nerd easily manipulated by those bent on evil. Probably what happened is Fauci realized the connection, too late, and panicked he would be implicated in the scandal. Perhaps early on, fall of 2019, he was still hoping it could be contained and/or the virus would not be as deadly as it became. Then, Bam! there was Italy and Spain and some other places clobbered by his, and the Chicoms', virus and it was too late. He then went into full cover-up mode. Of course, he had the support of the evil powers-that-be in the commie party, the Dems, and The Swamp because they saw this as an opportunity to kill Americans, wreck the economy and ruin Trump's re-election bid.
