Rubio came in as a Tea Party guy... beat the Democrat in Florida who was disguising himself as a Republican, who later just switched to the Democrat party. He's a Reagan conservative. The only reason I like Cruz better is because Cruz defeated Rubio's amnesty bill. Rubio says he's changed his mind on amnesty now, but I don't trust him as much as I trust Cruz. But he's not a RINO.
All Cruz has done is grandstand and stall bills in the senate. He hasn't done anything for the state of Texas except appear on Fox News to promote his presidential bid and there is a reason he is the most unlike among his colleagues. All this anti-establishment stuff is funny, Cruz is a privileged Ivy league school elitist, while Rubio is a son of bartender and maid and just paid off his student loans.Quote:
