Re: Covid - 19 - Louisiana Edition
According to the CDC, people age 65 and older make up over 80% of all Coronavirus deaths in the U.S. In fact, as the graph in the story below shows, deaths from Coronavirus are almost non-existent for people under the age of 35. Just the facts....
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articl...fatalities
That same story has another graph that demonstrates that the risk of dying from Coronavirus is EXACTLY the same as the risk of dying from Influenza for a person in the 25-34 year old age bracket. Furthermore, people in the age brackets under age 25 have a GREATER chance of dying from Influenza than they do of dying from Coronavirus.
Since 90% of college football players fit into the under 25 age bracket, this means college athletes --as an age group-- are more likely to die from Influenza than Coronavirus. So it's accurate to state that --for this age group-- the death rate for Coronavirus and Influenza victims are relatively equivalent.
Again.....just the facts....

Yet, they are just as likely to be a vector for COVID to accelerate its spread. Just like the dumbasses that are running around without masks acting like it’s not a pandemic causing flare ups in Texas, Arkansas and Alabama right now.

Not wearing masks has caused the "flair ups"? Where did you get those stats?
Focus on the terrorists who are not wearing masks.
Are exposed nostrils above the masks allowed? I see that everyday.

We know transmission rates are down where mask wearing is high and vice versa. We know this disease is spread through respiration and carried on water droplets. The transmission trends match what you would expect logically.
You should probably kindly point out to folks when their mask is not positioned properly. They are obviously making an effort to do the right thing, and might just appreciate your concern.

Where do you see the evidence of intelligence in Goosey? There's a reason the term "libtard" was coined, it decribes morons like him. Unable to learn from repeated events and mountains of evidence all pointing directly at failed liberal policies that consistently make matters worse and harm those people the policies were intended to help. Intelligence is not measured only in the volume of information someone can access, it's also the practical application of it. Dogs, dolphins, chimps can all be trained to perform tasks that appears to indicate the presence of real intelligence (and yes these animals, and others, are more intelligent than cows, and the like) but it is just conditioning. Goosey is dutiful in spouting what his puppet masters tell him to do, even when it is proven wrong time and time again. Hardly the stuff of real intelligence.

Guisslapp needs enlightenment. He's been so thoroughly brainwashed by the corrupt, liberal media that he's become nothing more than another mouthpiece for those who control the media's narrative.
Wake up Goosey, before it's too late.

This CAN'T BE right! Guisslapp the goofball said we're all dying from COVID. Your numbers are obviously wrong. I can go back in this SAME THREAD and see previous hospitalization and vent numbers TWICE as high (maybe more) as the ones quoted above. And YOU quoted 'em.
This is obviously a huge mistake, because everyone knows Guisslapp is never wrong.

No, you can thank PROTESTING, for THAT.

CORONAVIRUS in TEXAS:
“I didn’t care if I was exposed to COVID”: Protesters’ anger outweighed their fear of getting sick
Political leaders have sought to balance support for demonstrators’ rights of free expression with warnings about the public health risks of large crowds.

That is what a lockdown and social distancing does. It slows the spread.
