And I can not remember the last time we got a 3 star commit over a year out. 3 star WR from Evangel committed to us his Junior year. I could be wrong but I do not recall getting commits over a year ahead. Holtz still has some head scratching decisions on game day, but he is doing well in recruiting IMO. See Boston Scott.........

Trent Taylor is a pretty good two star receiver.

Despite his occasional wtf in-game decisions, I agree with most; Holtz runs a clean program and is well liked by the players.
As long as we have solid QB play, Holtz is recruiting enough talent to continue winning (which will help future recruiting.)

Offered by Georgia Tech, TCU and Miss St. That's how I judge recruits. By the other schools making the offers. The Stars are nice but I would rather have a 2 Start offered by those three schools than a 3 Star offered by SFA, ulm, arkyst. and ulL. Although with a QB you never know what position they are recruiting him for. Either way it's still a good verbal. I would like to here some info on him from some of you who have had the opportunity to see him play. What kind of offense does WM run?Quote:

Nope. Dykes was the only coach to take a chance on Taylor. Evangel couldn't even convince any FCS or D2 schools to offer him because of his height.Quote:
