Re: Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
All of these grammar comments warrant their own thread.
Re: Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
I just performed surgery on my toe with a broken bobby pin and toenail clippers.
Ingrown toenails suck.

Re: Comments That Don't Warrant A Thread
The University of South Florida is having some sort of social event for local engineers to interact with their engineering students. They contacted Honeywell and asked if anyone would be interested in coming out. They claimed the purpose was to help their engineering students have a better understanding of engineering in the work world. So, I emailed the guy and told him that I'd be interested in coming out. He replied that they were only looking for USF alumni and that he wasn't interested in my attendance.
So, let me get this straight, you aren't interested in having your social event attended by one of the largest engineering firms in the area because the person who would be attending graduated from somewhere else? And hey, it isn't like the USF alumni were interested in attending instead.

I don't think that peroxide actually disinfects. It just cleans when and as it fizzes. You need some alcohol.

I don't remember him saying "thanks," but I do remember him saying he would keep me in mind if ever they wanted to have an event with engineers from other schools. I thought about replying that USF DOES have an event with engineers from other schools that goes by the name "Career Day" and that I don't think our department would be very interested in attending.

Super Bowls should be played on Saturday . . . like yesterday.

Why? The regular season games are played on Sunday.
