Pacifiers are for babies and people like Joe Biden! There are those that understand the importance of this thread.....sportdawg, OLDBLUE, Lotsudo, Houston Techsan, Russdawg, etc. It is actually a Miscellaneous Thread. It is a place where you can find a joke from time to time and laugh. You can discuss football. You can ask about the name and location of a good place to eat when you travel to Rice, Mississippi State, or other locations for games. This is where you can go and do a countdown for GAME DAY like Russdawg did without hijacking someone else’s thread or starting a new thread!
And, by the way, Russdawg did an EXCELLENT job on his countdown. HD, I hope you saw it. I am answering your question because I respect your opinion. I also think it was childish for a moderator to move this thread all over creation for almost a year. It has been in the FOOTBALL FORUM since it was started in 2010. Let’s keep it there and keep it going. I would appreciate your support HD.

My daughter used to mumble all the time and we asked if she was speaking English or gibberish. Proudly, she would announce, "Bibberish!"

348 pages. What is the social value of this thread? Please, tell me.
DG it all has to do with 70TECHGRAD because this thread centers around him. There is no social value in this thread except to say that it is a distraction and a relief of our virtual day to day activities on this forum. It’s just merely a completely different line of thought or action…in other words a tangent whereby we can discuss something other than what the thread was intended. Here let me give you a better explanation:
In geometry, the tangent line (or simply tangent) to a plane curve at a given point is the straight line that "just touches" the curve at that point. Informally, it is a line through a pair of infinitely close points on the curve. More precisely, a straight line is said to be a tangent of a curve y = f(x) at a point x = c on the curve if the line passes through the point (c, f(c)) on the curve and has slope f'(c) where f' is the derivative of f. A similar definition applies to space curves and curves in n-dimensional Euclidean space.
As it passes through the point where the tangent line and the curve meet, called the point of tangency, the tangent line is "going in the same direction" as the curve, and is thus the best straight-line approximation to the curve at that point.
Similarly, the tangent plane to a surface at a given point is the plane that "just touches" the surface at that point. The concept of a tangent is one of the most fundamental notions in differential geometry and has been extensively generalized.
The word tangent comes from the Latin tangere, to touch...
Therefore 70TECHGRAD touches all of us.
I hope this clarified your question!

Enjoy life, take a break from seriousness, laugh at yourself and us other idiots, or make a valid well thought out post. But try not be so judgmental. Let others be themselves. It is what makes America a great country (within). Ya gotta join in, not try to rule.
So, what's on your mind? Some Louisiana Tech sport? Go with it.
Lotsudo, Wha....?
OLDBLUE posted this just after Lotsudo's post above. He also gets it!!! Russdawg and sportdawg understand this thread and have used it well!!!

My conclusion is that Rhinoceri are psychic. I must confess I haven't visited this thread in quite some time - several weeks for sure, definitely well over a month, perhaps 2 or more. At any rate, this morning, a little voice inside my head (thankfully it wasn't saying kill, kill, kill) told me to check this thread out and lo and behold I see a pic of this handsome devil! Yes, it's good to be a RHINO!
