Re: Covid - 19 - Louisiana Edition
The cases are ticking up because there is more testing...it doesn't mean there are more sick people!

Those are hospitalizations. That does mean there are more sick people.

Then most of those were sick before getting the China Virus. They should have stayed home

They may have stayed home. Others can bring it to them (like in nursing homes). Or Trump may have ordered them to work (such as the meat packing plants).

If you are going to prod, try to be realistic. Your girl Rachel would not have gone there

There are several drive-thru testing locations in Natchitoches. The one at the Parkway Cinema is staffed by the national guard, medical company.

Isn’t that sort of circular reasoning, though?
I’m glad testing has ramped up to the current capacity.

Latest numbers tested are 479,534 in Louisiana
Re: Covid - 19 - Louisiana Edition
Right. I do check the dashboard.
The numbers are encouraging, but tentative.
But to say simply the confirmed cases have risen because we’ve administered more tests is circular.
If we didn’t test at all, we’d have no positive cases.
LDH is doing good work.
