Why in the world would you think we would see an increase in Coronavirus cases in Texas?
This is in Houston. Just on the front row, 5 are wearing masks and 6 ARE NOT. And it's just like this in dozens of Texas cities.

The jobs report peeps have not heard about systemic racism.
Yeah, I just can't confirm that your 300-point futures number on Friday is accurate. I've googled it, but I can't find it. I do know the futures number on Friday was pointing to an opening gain, because I saw it on the TV at Lifetime Fitness. But I don't remember the actual futures number on Friday because --well-- I was busy working out. LOL! So we'll just agree to go with the 300-point Futures open that you stated. It still leaves a 529 point gain -just as I stated-- for the market -post futures-- and that's after some profit taking kicked in late.
“Donald Trump has been the worst president this country has ever had. And I don't say that hyperbolically. He is. But he is a consequential president. And he has brought this country in three short years to a place of weakness that is simply unimaginable if you were pondering where we are today from the day where Barack Obama left office. And there were a lot of us on that day who were deeply skeptical and very worried about what a Trump presidency would be. But this is a moment of unparalleled national humiliation, of weakness.
"When you listen to the President, these are the musings of an imbecile. An idiot. And I don't use those words to name call. I use them because they are the precise words of the English language to describe his behavior. His comportment. His actions. We've never seen a level of incompetence, a level of ineptitude so staggering on a daily basis by anybody in the history of the country whose ever been charged with substantial responsibilities.”
"It's just astonishing that this man is president of the United States. The man, the con man, from New York City. Many bankruptcies, failed businesses, a reality show, that branded him as something that he never was. A successful businessman. Well, he's the President of the United States now, and the man who said he would make the country great again. And he's brought death, suffering, and economic collapse on truly an epic scale. And let's be clear. This isn't happening in every country around the world. This place. Our place. Our home. Our country. The United States. We are the epicenter. We are the place where you're the most likely to die from this disease. We're the ones with the most shattered economy. And we are because of the fool that sits in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk."
- what he said
"He's brought death, suffering, and economic collapse on an epic scale."
Bill Belichick has "brought death to the franchise, fans' suffering, and financial ruin" to the New England Patriots.
Might as well post the stupidest things you can think of, and pretend it is the truth.

Trump is a great president! Just think if he had the benefit of a normal tenure. The Democrats can be "loyal opposition" on some issues, that's how the system is suppose to work. But there is nothing normal about the Dem Party these days.
I will be happy when the day arrives that all US Troops can come home...but alas, that is not reality just yet. So! I am quite pleased that Trump is moving about 27,000 troops from Germany into Poland. I think it sends a message to Putin and strengthens our ties to Eastern Europe without really sacrificing our alliance with Germany, should push come to shove. Trump is bold and forward thinking. The "front" in northern Europe is not in Germany, as it was for decades in post-WWII, it has moved to the east. Trump is not one to do things just because other presidents did it that way. This move makes sense.
This moves also sends a message to the Germans about their failure to pay their fair share into NATO. Trump said it, the Germans think nothing of spending $millions buying Russian energy, yet they expect us to spend our money protecting them from Russia. Closing US bases and reducing numbers at others will also have an economic impact on the local German communities. Checkmate!
Bolton was doing the circuits pimping his new book.. Tonight he said that Trump was "unpredictable".. Bolton is still pissed off that Trump called off an airstrike against an Iranian missile battery on the coast of Iran at the last minute. He details the timeline in his book, and how he tried to convince Trump to go ahead with the strike. He was also pissed off that Trump was trying to open diplomatic talks with N. Korea. Bolton has always been know as a war hawk.. if he had his way , we would be in an all out war with both Iran and N Korea..
Yep! we'd be at war in several places if left to Bolton. He's a hawk for sure.
I don't dislike Bolton. In fact, being a bit hawkish myself, I would probably agree with him more than disagree. But, Trump is not hawkish, and has avoided getting us into another war...so far. Trump is a bit of an isolationist with a libertarian lean when it comes to foreign policy. Trump is tough and "hawkish" in terms of economic policy, trade, etc...that is where he "fights" our nation's battles. And that is a whole lot better than committing us to shooting wars, that accomplish very little to nothing, and gets so many of our young people killed and maimed.
Bolton was butting heads with Trump, wanting to start wars all over the place, and when the POTUS said, "No" Bolton got his panties in a wad. The nation should be very, very thankful that our gallant leader, President Trump, did not follow the advice of that advisor, John Bolton. I do think Bolton could be a valuable member of an advisory staff for any POTUS, but he has to realize and accept, he is not the elected one and it's the POTUS' decision to commit this nation to war, not his.
A lot of goofy libs are giddy with excitement that there's something in Bolton's book that will harm Trump's reelection bid. From what I'm hearing that is not so. If anything, Bolton rips the past administration to shreds, and that includes Quid pro quo sleepy creepy Joe.
Ted Cruz’s running mate says she’ll vote for Biden...using the binary choice argument that got Trump elected!

Gohmert: Democrats' 'strategy' is to 'keep America in turmoil' to make it easier to dump Trump
Gohmert says it appears that Democrats 'don’t care so much about letting America heal' because they want 'political advantages

It is all about destroying America as it was established and has been and change it to a more globalist/Marxist country by using race, environmental and most importantly economic envy to progress their agenda. Upon gaining the power they will enslave the population by controlling their economic welfare, their health care, and remove their ability for counter revolution by taking the guns.

I’ll say this about Trump, he always behaves exactly as you would expect.
Yeah.. Trump forced Cuomo to send all of those positive Covid patients back to nursing homes to spread the virus to the most vulnerable.. How dare Trump..:icon_roll:
She would have done what Obama did with the flu epidemic...just stop counting the numbers and stop reporting the numbers.

It's from a Fox News interview Trump did with Dr. Marc Siegel where Trump talks about getting a cognitive screening and then suggest Biden should do the same. He spends about five minutes talking about that.
https://youtu.be/JZGPpFr_2Nc?t=407
Video should start where he starts talking about the screening. If it doesn't, skip to the 6:47 minute mark (unless you want to watch the whole interview).
Prior to today, the last time America sent men into space and brought them home again was 2011. Now in 2020, the USA has returned to space in one of our own vehicles. Congrats to NASA and Space X...and a special thanks to our awesome leader, President Donald Trump! Thanks for restoring our independence from the Ruskies, and for restoring American pride once again!
Another horrible thing done to us by obummer/Biden has been undone.
Trump is awesome!!!

11 years ago, an Obama committee concluded that would take 12 years and cost $26 billion. Elon Musk did it in 6 years-- for less than $1 billion.

Interesting findings on DOJ study on FISA warrants:
Michael horowitz found 17 critical errors, omissions, and falsehoods in the fisa warrant on carter page.
The DOJ and the fisa court took the extraordinary step of invalidating these warrants when they found out about the errors.
Horowitz then was curious: are these many errors commonplace during the fisa process, or are they rare? His reasoning was simple. If all fisa warrants contained many errors, it would serve as a defense against accusations that the fbi was specifically out to get trump. If the carter page warrants were out of the ordinary in the amount of errors they contained, it would lend credence to the idea that the fbi WAS out to get trump and his team.
Horowitz ordered 29 random fisa warrants (not including page's) to be examined.
the results are in.....
of the 29 warrants, there were 2 ERRORS TOTAL. Aka, each warrant had .07 errors. More critically, NONE OF THE WARRANTS WERE DEEMED INVALID. aka, they all satisifed the fisa court in their accuracy and credibility.
carter page's warrant had 17 ERRORS, and WAS DEEMED INVALID, unlike the other 29 randomly chosen fisa's.
The amount of errors in page's fisa was 242 TIMES HIGHER than the 29 random chosen fisa's.
this TAKES AWAY AN FBI TALKING POINT, that the mistakes in the page warrant were part of a larger fbi problem.
nope, the trump campaign fisa warrant was uniquely tainted.
this is what john durham will use in court to prove criminal intent.

You get extra points if you can say them in order.
I have read several articles on the Mexican Flu of 2009-10 (aka Swine Flu), and 18,500 appears to be the most accurate estimate of the deaths. 61 million Americans got it, including me. It was pretty rough, 102F fever and I actually missed 3 days of work.
Hopefully, medical science/government(s) will come clean on the death toll of this China Virus too...some day. Perhaps after it no longer serves a political purpose, we'll get the truth.
"Person woman man camera TV."
Will someone please tell me what this means?)
Did any of you see the speech POTUS gave yesterday and if so did you hear his remarks about lowering drug prices? He stated that he was making some very wealthy people very angry and that we may may not see much of him for a while. I know Trump is prone to offhanded comments but this one seemed especially odd. I've always felt Trump has enemies on both sides that want to keep the status quo. He seems to be intent on doing some things even at his own peril.
History will be a lot kinder to Trump than the current popular, twisted views of him. It would surprise a lot of people to know that Lincoln was despised by a lot of folks...and I don't mean just Southerners. Many northerners hated him! Many in power, influential people, like newspaper editors and state political leaders despised him, roundly bashed him for his policies. In the 1860 election Lincoln only got 39.8% of the popular vote, and his poll numbers dropped after that, especially during the first three years of his war of Northern Aggression. Too many northern boys coming home in coffins, and for what!? History paints a different picture of him because we have the luxury of 20-20 hindsight and can see the BIG PICTURE.
Trump IS a great POTUS. Those of us who don't have our head up someone's ass, see that. His detractors fall into one of two categories, 1) the commie bastards who want to destroy America, and 2) the truly ignorant who simply don't know any better. History will show what a great American he is, and what a great job he is doing (did) for this country and the free world.
That works both ways. The way flu deaths of any variety are always calculated is using reverse looking data analytics. That produces a range - in the case of the swine flu, somewhere between 8k and 18k deaths that are likely attributable to swine flu in the US.
For COVID, we are reporting lab confirmed COVID deaths, which results in an undercount.
And as a reminder, those deaths were back-calculated over a full year, 2 flu seasons.
I comparison, Trump’s mismanagement of COVID has resulted in 163k deaths so far, currently adding over 1k new deaths a day...
That is an Obama swine flu every 10 days.
That is a daily death rate of more than double that of the Civil war.
That is like having 3 Vietnam Wars in 5 months.
No, you didn't...by posting those together you attempted to link those historical events together when they have NO connection whatsoever. Secondly, we've been through this before, your TRYING and FAILING to place blame where it does not lay. Since you can't seem to learn from that mistake that constitutes being "stupid," by the classic definition: the inability to learn.
No we are reporting those who died WITH the China Virus. Maybe even those with the antibody findings. Been through this before too. Hearing about more and more false positive tests.
The old and sick are the ones who are dying. Been that way since this crap started.
The testing thing depends.
I seriously doubt you are hearing about false positives for the molecular PCR tests. Those have exceedingly low false positivity and this is the primary diagnostic test that would be used in treating patients.
Some places use the rapid antigen test for screening purposes - like if you wanted to visit the President. Some workplaces dealing with sensitive populations are using this, too. These have a higher false positivity rate. That is not great, but it is acceptable for how these tests are being used - to screen people.
Antibody tests that tell you whether you had the disease - highest of all the tests for false positivity. This is bad if it causes you to behave as if you can’t get coronavirus.
Wrong!!! the US is currently 8th worse in the world in deaths per capita. And Brazil is just about to pass us, dropping us to 9th when that happens, probably in the next couple of days.
Now, I agree, being in the top 10 is way too high, but stop the effing lies...15X more deaths per capita...what a doozey!
Your negative credibility rating just took another hit...
Reread my post. It was dead on accurate. I am talking about daily per capita deaths for COVID right now, in August. Not looking back cumulatively from day 1.
Half a year into this disaster, Americans are dying at a much faster rate from COVID than Europe and Canada.
Okay...in the interest of my own credibility, I found a couple of what I consider to be reliable sources, that support your contention of "current" daily death rates. The two sites have stats dating from August 1 - August 8 with three-day rolling averages used to "smooth out the humps due to reporting time lags." And in comparing US to Europe and Canada, which you did state, 15X the rate is an acceptable "rounded-off" estimate. I hereby restore a few credibility points to your overall score...but it remains way down in the negative numbers.
It should also be noted that while Europe and Canada are presently doing better in that one statistical category...I'm sure carefully cherry-picked by you to try to make a political point...there are other countries, namely Brazil and Columbia, and Malaysia, I think it is, that are not doing so well in comparison to the US.
But...on the other part of your contention: blaming Trump. Sorry, nope! can't go there. Are there ANY state/local political leaders anywhere in this country (indeed, the world) who is NOT familiar with the current China virus outbreak? Anyone? Goosey, can you find and name any governor, any mayor, who can legitimately say, Hey, what is this virus crisis mess, this is the first I am hearing about this, and why hasn't President Trump personally called me to alert me? Do some research and post any such political leader...
The current US death rates are, of course, a direct result of the "re-opening" surge that took place in early to mid-July. I am happy to report we still (at this time) live in a country where local/state political leaders enjoy authority and who can, and often do, totally ignore DC. Thankfully that is so. But, they also take on full responsibility for their actions/decision-making. Trump did not put a gun to the head of any governor or mayor and force them to relax protocols in the virus "crisis." But, nice try...actually, it wasn't a good try...trying to blame Trump for the decisions of others in whose authority such decisions lay.
