A must read by a great man of color.
Are blacks' plight due to bad cops, or Democratic leaders?

Here's a quote from the former head of National Urban League Department of Criminal Justice
quote:
Woodson, a former head of the National Urban League Department of Criminal Justice, recalled the civil rights movement of the 1960s promised that if black people led institutions, "all of black America would be better off."
"It's more class than it is race ... and now race is being used to deflect attention away from the failures of people running those institutions," he said. "The question is, why are black kids failing in school systems run by their own people?"
"In the past 50 years, $22 trillion has been spent on poverty programs. Seventy percent goes not to the poor but those who serve poor people," he said.
"So many of those people taking office use this money to create a class of people who are running these cities, and now after 50 years of liberal Democrats running the inner cities, where we have all of these inequities that we have, race is being used as a ruse, as a means of deflecting attention away from critical questions such as why are poor blacks failing in systems run by their own people?"
Re: What is Systemic Racism?
This is how idiotic this systemic racism thing is and how out of touch the so called progressives are who push it have become...
Dictionary giant Merriam-Webster has announced that it will be changing its definition of the word "racism" after someone complained in the wake of George Floyd's death. The term will now be updated to reflect that racism is "systemic."
"While our focus will always be on faithfully reflecting the real-world usage of a word, not on promoting any particular viewpoint, we have concluded that omitting any mention of the systemic aspects of racism promotes a certain viewpoint in itself." — Merriam-Webster
Re: What is Systemic Racism?
Something else the Hollywood idiots are doing...
Longtime show "Cops" has been cancelled by Paramount Network in the wake of George Floyd's death. Similarly, new episodes of the popular show "Live PD" on A&E have disappeared, and the show is now in jeopardy for the same reason.

Do you feel guilty about your white privilege? If you do I assume you’ll be willing to turn over your material possessions to some deserving AA.

No, I don’t feel guilty. And I don’t think anyone should. And that isn’t even what anyone is asking white people to do.
No one has time for white drama. That isn’t the point. Stop making this about you.

I would assume its because they're independent variables, at least that would be the initial assumption.

If you get guilt over white privilege, I can’t help you work through those feelings. You have to figure that one out for yourself.

So what explains blacks overrepresenting the poor and underrepresting the rich compared to their percentage of the population?
