2019 showed my 401K grow at 29%. Year before that it was greater than 20%(don't remember exactly). I expect this year up through Nov to be another very good year due to Trump's policies. I have been very happy with these not so normal results.
Earnings growth went down in 2019. Your market returns are the result of a sharp sell off at the end of 2018 and fed rate cuts (and other rate cuts from central bankers around the world) and balance sheet expansion through the repo market, which pushed people into risk assets. Fixed income investors (not me) and savers are hurting right now because they can’t get yield from bonds and CDs.Quote:

Frisco, your return for 2019 was almost exactly the same as the S&P500. If that is what you are in, your return for 2018 would be about 7% after the end of the year sell-off that started in October.
Laura Ingraham reported last night that she had received e-mails showing there was a meeting with Ukraine officials in the Whitehouse on 1/19/2016. There was a discussion about Hunter Biden being involved with Burisma. A New York Times writer, Ken Vogel, wrote a story about the meeting and the NYT would not print his story. The person that checked these Ukrainian officials into the Whitehouse was Jeffrey Cole, aka the whistle blower. Notice the date, i day before Trump was sworn in. This had to be an emergency meeting about something very important to Obama and his administration. This was also the day we started hearing about Russia collusion.
