Re: If you want a thread to die
OK...almost off season now. Next up is National Signing Day. Does anyone know when that will be??
Re: If you want a thread to die
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....just found out.....February 3, 2016 is National Signing Day for Football.
Re: If you want a thread to die
National Signing Day, usually the first Wednesday of February, is the first day that a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent for college football with a school that is a member of the United States National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

I believe Jeff Driskel and Cody Sokol before him realize (in hindsight) they would have been better off to have started at Tech, but why did they not see that out of high school and will others start to see it out of high school?

I doubt it. So many young people have no clue what is happening in the world. And, many know nothing about history.

Ok.....it is the off season.....time to talk about uniform color, helmets, coaching changes, etc.
Re: If you want a thread to die
If I win the Power Ball and am the only big winner this Wednesday, I'll pay to put a dome over the Joe! No more standing in the rain to watch a game like we did several times last year!:)

OK, just to get things started I like the red jerseys with no shoulder stripes, white pants and the Red Helmets with blue state/white T like the team wore for the first game in the Joe back in 1968. There is a picture in the 69 Lagniappe of the team lined up for a snap in that game. Since I'm not a paying member I don't believe I can add pictures.
Second favorite is the traditional blue jerseys we wear with white pants and the Red Helmets with blue state/white T.
Third is the same as above with blue pants.
I like the white helmets and think they go well with the all blue or the standard red jersey we use.
But bring back the white T on the red helmets. Red T looks good on the white helmets.
If they ever really want to go retro, how about plain white helmets with the single red stripe? I'm not advocating this. Someone will probably joke and say why not the old leather ones.
Re: If you want a thread to die
Margot - Would you give up one of our CUSA wins to have won against Miss State?
Todd - In a New York minute!
Margot - How about two CUSA wins?
Todd - If you can't see how beating Miss State or K State is better for Tech than beating several directional whatever universities, then you just don't understand what it takes to promote Louisiana Tech to where we need to be.
Margot - Sometimes I think you don't even care about winning anything except games against P5 programs and enough others to just barely get to any bowl.
Todd - You know me pretty well.
Re: If you want a thread to die
How many fans do you legitimately think we'd bring if we played for a NC?
