yeah , we lost a few "early " commitments to TCU few yrs back and a 5 star player who LSU jerked around (greyshirt issue). Programs like TCU have big advantage MONEY ( captain obvious) and its easy to forget that teams now subsidize with cash--think I read it can be 500$ --

Other than the per diem? It's not much during the season, but does increase for bowl games.

Give me a man of Dixon's character any day of the week. And twice on Sunday.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
Ready to move on from Wudtee. He'll probably do well. But we'll probably be fine without him.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
Wudtee wont ever start at TCU or OK State. I guarantee.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
It's a tough decision. No one knows the future ("what's best for them"). If you told him he would never play at TCU/Missouri/Oklahoma St and he would start for 2 years at Tech and get drafted in the NFL, I'm sure he would choose Tech. But in his mind at this point, he's going to be a 4 year starter wherever he goes.... and maybe he will be. "Committing" to a school does not mean what we think it means.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
If he is no better than Brandon Harris then he wont touch the field at either of those schools. It would be questionable to say that Harris would start at Tech and many say Harris is far more polished than Wudtee.
Re: 2016 Football Commitments
We will be fine without Wudtee......he is gone...don't worry about it...MOVE ON!!!

Agreed. And Wudtee may be good, but I guarantee you he hasn't done THIS:
