Two US carrier groups, the USS Carl Vinson and USS Abaham Lincoln, have entered the South China Sea amidst protests from the Chicoms. Worse! Taiwan has announced US military personnel are on the ground in Taiwan for various reasons, including to coordinate the upcoming joint training exercises between the US carriers and Taiwan air defense units. The Chicoms went ballistic. And...and I love this!...the defense minister of Taiwan sent the Chicoms an official cable which included a message sent to him by the Chicoms last November, the last time the US had carriers in the South China Sea. The cable was a copy of that message, and the minister included a hand-written note addressed to the Chicoms, which effectively read, "yeah, we hear ya!" LOL!
That's almost as good as the commander of the British submarine who responded to warnings from the Chicoms to leave the South China Sea with a simple reply, "Bite me!"
