I asked Sun Belt commissioner Keith Gill about the potential of Marshall, Southern Miss and ODU joining for fall 2022.
He said nothing’s changed, fall 2023 at the latest.
(If it happens for 2022, it has to happen this month)

My issue is with all the "I just want it over with" comments (especially UTEP fans for some reason). There is no reason to want something to happen that is a worse outcome just because it might make message board chatter snippier than usual.

Historically, that has been a big if.
Didn't the SWC reach out to them in the past after they left the SEC? Obviously they weren't up to snuff. They spiraled downward ever since they left the SEC and demolished Tulane Stadium. They easily could have invested more and been the GT of the Big12. They seem to be showing more initiative now.Quote:
