Someone Has Finally Listened - Southern Univeristy Coming to Ruston in 2015

Uh, not to put too fine a point on it but you guys do know the Techsters are our female athletes. Ya'll aren't coming up her to whip up on the women folk are you?

I don't have links but the Southern University Alumni Home Chapter-BR, the Southern University Alumni Houston, TX Chapter, and the Southern University Quarterback Club (EBRP) are selling packages. There are others offering bus rides as well along in addition to group charter buses.

LOL No, we won't do that OldDawg!!! I was unaware of the fact that you refer to your female athletes as "Techsters". I thought it was the name of the LA Tech "World" of fans, similar to our "Jaguar Nation", which includes all Jaguar fans...I was just following what Earle said in his post!

At Tech, we are "family" as in "the Tech Family",not "nation" as so many other schools use. The Lady Techsters used that name because they didn't want to be the lady bulldogs which could lead to other designations.:o

I too was unaware that La Tech referred only to their female athletes as"Techsters." When I used the noun, I was referring loosely to all Tech fans. My bad!

After all these years . . . an avid sports fan is unaware of the term Lady Techsters. Wow. Just wow.
