Trump is not an ideologue. He's a deal maker. He will select someone who can draw yuge crowds. A billionaire and an anti-billionaire on the same ticket would be intriquing.

Trump could take "the greedy capitalist pig who steals from the poor" weapon from Hillary/media/comedians by naming Sanders as his running mate. And they do have some common positions to unite under.

True, but is this the guy conservatives want to run against Hillary:

Absolutely not. Trump is not a conservative. He's an opportunist who is where he is because he understands the media better than they understand themselves...maybe better than anyone.
I oppose Trump, but not because I don't think he's smart. I think he's brilliant. He just has no core political values.
This is the weirdest looming election I've ever experienced. Right now, I know who my 2nd choice would be, but have no idea who my first choice is!
I ACHE for an opportunity to vote FOR someone,,, instead of against someone.
The difference is Trump truly loves our country whereas the other in the WH and his wife don't.
That said, I'm still worried per Trump admitting he's never had to asked forgiveness for anything. That seems too much like Obama's character IMHO.
Trump loves himself. Nothing or noone else.
+1 bingo
Dear Trump Fan, So You Want Someone To ‘Tell It Like It Is’? OK, Here You Go.
I couldn't decide whether I should share this article or not. But I think it's something we all need to hear.
This is exactly right. He's not a conservative.
I also think a great many people are underestimating just how many Republicans will stay home if Trump is the nominee. It could be said that if you choose to stay home than you are basically helping Hillary get elected, but it could also be said that if you vote for Trump knowing a lot of Republicans and Independents will stay home if Trump is the nominee you are as much to blame. I know a lot, and by a lot I mean literally most of my friends and coworkers, who wont vote for him. And you know what the sad thing is? This is the year that many of them, independents, would have actually voted Republican. Personally I will vote for whomever is the Republican nominee unless it is Trump in which case I will vote Libertarian.
I think I agree with him. These people like Trump because they believe he is who they want him to be, but he's not... and if anyone points that out, they just think that person has an agenda for the establishment. They are going to be shocked when he turns on them after he is elected. What are they going to say when he repeals Obamacare and pushes universal health care through? Whatever they say, he is going to tell them to sit down and shut up you losers, because that's how he rolls. What are they going to say when he makes a great deal with Pelosi and Reid? What will be his response to them? I think I have a good idea. This guy is not a conservative or a small government guy or even an ideas guy, he's just a deal maker with no filter. But you can't tell them that, it makes them like him MORE if you do.
