Re: Serious Conference Realignment Discussion
So my son plans to get rich (more rich than Elon). Then he plans to give $100 billion to LaTech. Can we get to P5 on that?

Maybe then we can get concessions.

He asked if I thought Tech would give him courtside seats and a suite if he donated that amount!
Re: Serious Conference Realignment Discussion
Sunbelt schools are gone per statement from CUSA. Anybody have details of the “resolution”?

Oh the sweet innocence of a child. Tell him once the university is renamed after him, he can sit anywhere he pleases. Heck he can even call the plays. Whatever he wants.
Re: Serious Conference Realignment Discussion
Take all tournaments from them.

@PeteThamel
Sources: The three Conference USA schools departing to the Sun Belt – Marshall, ODU and Southern Miss – have finalized a separation agreement from Conference USA. The terms of the separation have been agreed upon but are not expected to be made public.
Conference USA will play with 11 members in 2022 and is expected to release a new schedule soon. The league has petitioned the NCAA to play a pair of Week 0 league games for health and safety reasons.
The Week 0 games help alleviate teams playing games too many consecutive games, which is inherent in the awkwardness of an 11-team league.

That is highly suspicious.

I'd attend it in California before I'd drive over to that crap hole in Mississippi again.
Re: Serious Conference Realignment Discussion
I actually like Hattiesburg. Especially the Stuckey's at I-59/US 49.
Great stop off on my way to the beach.

We have stopped there since we started going to Destin in the mid 80’s. Perfect spot for a potty and a fill up. Ed’s Burger Joint is a cool spot to grab lunch on the way too.
