Some of Big Tech also has a virtual monopoly. This is why they can not be trusted to regulate themselves. That is a very different situation from a mom and pop baker or florist.

I would say some of Big Tech have an actual monopoly, but like all businesses they are vulnerable to technological disruption over a shorter duration. If they don’t manage their power responsibly, the Google’s of the world could be quickly wiped away by a decentralized Internet.
WTH??? Obama was the one that embraced string men and dictators. These needs to go under the "Why do Democrat lie" thread.
LIVE COVERAGE: Beto O'Rourke claims Trump 'embraced strong men and dictators'
OMG! you mention Trump and erection in the same sentence.
I'm no psychologist but I think I see what your issue is. You have a lust for Trump. But you know he'd never even give you the time of the day. This is the old "pigtails in the ink well" syndrome. Of course that refers to a boy chasing a girl.
You are a sick individual.
Polls are showing Tulsi crushed the debate last night and came out on top by far.
Poll on Drudge Report. Over 125K votes cast, and Tulsi got almost 46% of the votes. Warren was in a very distant second place with 11%. Problem is that the media is trying to shape the narrative and make Warren out to be the favorite. Tulsi is not a favorite of the MSM, so they will try to push other candidates.
Actually I agree with a pundit I just saw on TV...when asked who won the debate last night, he said: There were two big winners last night...Biden and Trump. I agree!
But, Biden will probably undo last night with gaffes tonight.
Okay, did just see that hands down more Internet searches were conducted of Gabbard than any others. She must have struck a chord with many viewers. That combined with "who the hell is Gabbard?"
She does have a couple of redeeming qualities. Saw a pic of her in a bikini taken a few years ago. Yes sir!
O'Rourke has never came across as anything other than an empty suit along for the ride, hoping no one really pays attention to his attempts to soak up a sweet paycheck and retirement. He's Bingo Bob (West Wing) in living form.
Whatever attributes Cruz and Trump have, they at least (at times) show a moderate intellectual skill akin to most politicians. The effectiveness of it is still yet to be fully determined.
Which one of these goofy democrats are you going to vote for? They make Obama look like a moderate. Trump has destroyed their brains. I thought the ones last night were bad, but, tonight's bunch is worse. A liberal on CNN today said none of the candidates last night could beat Trump and these tonight are worse. Victor Hanson said a liberal's idea of campaigning is to be further to the left of his opponent.
No, future Americans will look back in disbelief at all the utter nonsense that today's liberal Democrats are constantly spewing. They'll also look back in total disgust at how our society has allowed the modern day holocaust that's going on with abortion to go on as long as we have.
I can't remember who it was that said this, but, this describes the democrats policy of giving everybody everything free. " If you think it's expensive now, just wait until the government makes it free." Biden said last night that he would repeal Trump's tax cut. Bernie wants to tax those making over 250,000 at a 70% rate. The democrats have given Trump a lot of ammunition to campaign on. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!! VOTE DONALD TRUMP in 2020
The candidates last night (and the night before) really had some scary policy positions. I think they are well on their way to getting Trump reelected.
I honestly would have thought Trump's election would be a wake up call for them, but it seems like missed the memo. I wonder if his reelection will inspire some soul searching.
Question....
How much interest income does the government make on student loan debt? What programs will be cut when that revenue stream is gone?
:D What a freaking mess the socialist Democrats are these days.

Would like to see Harris debate Trump. He wouldn’t even know what hit him!
She is the female Obama. Dark skin, but not black. Fake person. Figures she'd be your fave.
He retweeted.
"Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black. She is half Indian and half Jamaican. I'm so sick of people robbing American Blacks (like myself) of our history. It's disgusting."
“Don’s tweet was simply him asking if it was true that Kamala Harris was half-Indian because it’s not something he had ever heard before," Andy Surabian, a spokesman for Trump Jr.
Why would that deserve a “Wow!” What is the significance of this fact that makes it wow-worthy? Of course I ask that rhetorically, because everyone recognizes a racist dog whistle.
I guess because, like everything that spews from her mouth, it points out another lie. I know as a lib you think nothing of lying, it's all you know. But to the rest of us who assumed she was just another AA, it comes as a surprise. That's what we get for given a lib one iota of the benefit of the doubt.
Dow hits another record high today. Many in media are talking about a recession. They are hoping to change the narrative because everyone knows as along as the economy continues to be hot, democrats will not be able to beat Trump in 2020.
The stock market is pricing in 2 interest rate cuts this year because they think the Fed will intervene to stimulate a slowing economy facing major headwinds in Europe, Asia and trade war (Trump) induced business confidence erosion. If the Fed doesn’t deliver a rate cut in July, there is a good chance of a sell-off.
Your boy Obama was 1/4 black, but called himself and AFRICAN american. What a bogus...not even close to black "person" he was. BTW, was he even a citizen of the USA?
In the Quinniac (sp?) poll, Harris has edged closer to Biden, think it was something like 22% to 20% Warren was 3rd, Sanders 4th. I think. Something like that. Even if you assume the polls are accurate...yeah, right!... have to remember they represent a snap-shot of a very small sample size.
One thing that I have noticed though, is no matter the poll, no matter the news/recent events, Sanders is consistently polling 4th. If the polls were truly volatile then one would think Sanders would capture a higher finish on occasion.
Okay, just saw this poll flashed on TV, Warren 14% Sanders 13%...
I'd be concerned if I were in the Sanders' camp.

From Robert Johnson BET founder this morning:
Robert Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television and the first black American billionaire, said the Democratic Party has gone too far left, according to CNBC.
Johnson's comments came during a Tuesday interview with CNBC's Hadley Gamble.
"The party in my opinion, for me personally, has moved too far to the left," Johnson said. "And for that reason, I don't have a particular candidate (I'm supporting) in the party at this time," he said. "I think at the end of the day, if a Democrat is going to beat Trump, then that person, he or she, will have to move to the center and you can't wait too long to do that."
Johnson conceded that President Trump has the economy working well so far, saying Trump deserves an "A+" on that front.
"I think the economy is doing great, and it's reaching populations that heretofore had very bad problems in terms of jobs and employments and the opportunities that come with employment … so African-American unemployment is at its lowest level, " Johnson said.
"I give the president a lot of credit for moving the economy in a positive direction that's benefiting a large amount of Americans," he said. "I think the tax cuts clearly helped stimulate the economy. I think business people have more confidence in the way the economy is going."
Johnson supported Hillary Clinton in 2016. But, at this early stage in the Democratic primary, he isn't sure who he will support out of this cycle's group of Democrats. But he does believe he knows what the American people are looking for.
"At the end of the day, the American people are looking for someone who can deliver economically and deliver on opportunities," Johnson said.
And just think if Pres. Trump had a cooperative Congress, Judicial, and bureaucracy working with him to solve problems, rather than being roadblocks. Heck, by now, I think Trump would have us at 0.0% unemployment, an infrastructure largely rebuilt, would have cured cancer, found the USMNT a true striker, had the whole world singing Kumbaya...and who knows what else?
In the private business world, Trump ran up more debt than anyone other single person. Old habits are hard to break, I guess.
I believe that the national debt and all the unfunded federal liabilities are past the point where they could ever be paid off. That a financial reset of some sort (probably to some sort of a gold backed currency) will have to happen and that a huge debt jubilee will have to take place. That fortunes will be lost, millions will die worldwide, and that physical assets (homes, land, gold, silver, etc.) will be the only wealth people end up with. I believe that the process for this new normal to set in will take from six months to a year to be completed, so it's important that you can be self sufficient for that period of time.

Moderate Dem slams 'squad' for threatening to primary him:
'They're not Democrats ... they're socialists'
Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, responded to the threat of a primary from the four female progressive House members known as "the squad" on Tuesday and accused them of being socialists in disguise.
"I mean it's this group called the Justice Democrats. I think they're not Democrats quite honestly," he said on "Your World with Neil Cavuto."
"They're socialists and they want to impose their vision to Texas and we certainly know that in Texas our vision is very different from ... what I call these Justice Democrats, which are really socialists. They're not really Democrats."

First Biden, now Booker (and I probably have missed a few others), has said he wants to punch out President Trump. Of course that draws cheers and laughter and the lib media/Dems brushing it off as just an off-the-cuff remark, if they comment at all. No condemnation. Booker is no threat to win 2020, so it won't have any impact on his campaign, but note how as a Dem he gets a free pass. Is even applauded for it.
So now Trump has tapped Ratcliffe to be Director of National Intelligence...or whatever...another sitting Congressman, which means he gives up his seat. Is it a strong (R) district or are the Repubs in danger of losing the seat?
At last count, I saw, there are now 11 GOPers voluntarily stepping away from the House, most are retiring. I've seen 2 Dems saying they are not seeking re-election, but those have to be in very lib districts. If these were purple they wouldn't be allowed to quit...they would be executed by the Goologs.
Trump totally effed up the Jeff Sessions mess! Got a lousy AG and lost the Senate seat to boot.
Crooked Dems are at it again but this time against Biden. They're going to screw the old white guy just like they did Bernie Sanders.
The DNC and liberals in general are worse than the fake "Russian Election" hoax.

12 Comcast/NBC Execs Funded Harris Campaign Before Debate
Not only did NBC debate moderators give California Sen. Kamala Harris extra time during its June debate, it turns out twelve executives from NBC Universal and parent company Comcast gave her campaign cash too.
NBC was ready to crown Harris the victor after its two-night, Democratic debates June 26 and 27. In various programming the network heaped praise on the “breakout star,” calling her “brave” and “powerful.”
But NBC’s moderators broke their own debate rules by giving Harris more time than she was supposed to get, some of which she used to attack former Vice President Joe Biden and accuse him. The resulting exchange caused MSNBC host Chris Matthews to wonder if Biden could survive Harris’ “amazing night in history.”
Now, recently released Federal Election Commission data revealed Harris had another kind of help from NBC.
Money.
At least 12 NBCUniversal/Comcast executives donated to the Harris campaign in the months leading up to the debate. The FEC data included March and April 2019 donations, raising concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
Five news-related executives were of particular concern including three executives who provide oversight to NBC News and two others who are in charge of Comcast’s political advertising sales.
Those five were Vice Chairman of NBC Universal Ronald Meyer, Chairman of NBCU Film and Entertainment Jeff Shell, President of NBC Universal International Television Distribution and Universal Networks International Belinda Menendez, Comcast Spotlight Senior Vice President and Marketing Executive Maria Weaver and Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Global Commercial Development Katie Back of FreeWheel, A Comcast Company.
The Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics clearly states that journalists should “Avoid conflicts of interest, real or perceived. Disclose unavoidable conflicts.”
It also states that journalists should refuse credibility-harming “special treatment” and should “Avoid political and other outside activities that may compromise integrity or impartiality, or may damage credibility.”

I have always liked Newt Gingrich. I have read most of his books, especially the historical novels, and enjoy when he's on FOX shining the light of truth on the silly Dems. Had a brief opportunity to speak to him when he had a campaign stop at LC in Pineville (2012). He's a brilliant person, chock full of information...a walking encyclopedia, as we used to say. As Speaker, he and the Repub House, was responsible for making Slick Willy's tenure good for America...economically, anyway. Newt forced Billy Boy away from the edge of the cliff of socialism.
Yeah, I know, some people get hung up on his personal life issues, at the time, but that's not what is truly important. It's what political leaders do FOR America that counts. But, BTW, Newt has been happily married and his personal life is very stable. He and Callista have been married 19 years now. I spoke with her too. Very gracious and humble.

POLL: Most Now Have Unfavorable View of Dem Party...
Most Americans Now Have an Unfavorable View of the Democratic Party, A Flip From 2018
By Joe DePaoloSep 10th, 2019, 10:22 am
The blue wave in 2018 was undeniable (by everyone, seemingly, except President Donald Trump. Democrats gained 41 seats in the House and lost just two in the Senate — despite facing an overwhelmingly unfavorable map. But with the presidential candidates in the spotlight, the Democratic party’s approval numbers appear to be taking a bit of a dive.
A column in The New York Times Tuesday cited a Pew Research Center surveywhich found that Americans currently hold an unfavorable view of the Democratic party. According to the poll, 45 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of the Democrats, compared with 52 percent who hold an unfavorable view. Those numbers mirror the Republican party exactly. The GOP also stands at 45-52 in those metrics.
Last September, ahead of the 2018 midterms, the numbers told a different story. Fifty-three percent of Americans had a favorable opinion of Democrats prior to the election, compared to 42 percent who had an unfavorable opinion. Republicans, meanwhile, boasted just a 43 percent favorable number, with 52 percent unfavorable.
Will these numbers hold until next November? And if so, how will they translate at the ballot box?
:D
Internal Democrat poll: 90% of Americans disagree with Dems
Limbaugh: 'This is why they're gonna be hitting the panic button'
The Democrats in Washington's "swamp" are far afield from their own party, partly because they are "poisoned with hatred," according to radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh.
He cited a story, "Democrats hit the panic button after internal polling shows stunning public opinion on impeachment," from Glenn Beck's website, TheBlaze.com.
Internal Democrat poll: 90% of Americans disagree with Dems
"Here is the pull quote. 'He claims that other freshman Democrats agree with him that the agenda of the party does not match the voters' concerns. And their internal polling supports that opinion.' I don't know who the 'he' is. Doesn’t matter. What matters here is the internal, not ABC, CBS, NBC polling data. This is internal Democrat Party polling data," Limbaugh explained.
The poll found 54 percent of voters said Democrats in Washington were more focused on impeachment than any other policy. But only 10 percent of voters believed that impeachment should be their focus, he said.
"Ninety percent think the Democrats are way off and on the wrong track. See, this is why they're gonna be hitting the panic button, not just because of what it says on the surface, but why are they doing this impeachment business?" Limbaugh said.
He said there are two reasons the Democrats are bent on impeachment.
"One is that many of these Democrats are as crazy, they are as poisoned with hatred as that faceless blob that makes up their base. Their Twitterverse of anonymous, nobody knows who they are radical, insane, angry, outraged liberals."
He explained they've simply never been able to get over the results of the 2016 election.
"They've been promised that Trump was gonna be impeached. They’ve been promised that Trump was gonna be go to jail. They’ve been promised that Trump was gonna be revealed as a traitor, all of this stuff, MSNBC promised them, the New York Times promised them, CNBC promised them, MSNBC promised them, the Washington Post promised them, all of the experts and unnamed sources in all these places promised them," he said.
But President Trump is still there.
"They are frustrated all the get out they can’t get rid of him. They want to get rid of him, they hate him. And then the other factor is that they think — their base is demanding this, too — they think over half the country’s demanding this," he said.

What idiots! They are the ones corrupting the 2020 election. And they stopped Bernie in 2016 with corrupt tactics as well.
Dems hate Trump enough to destroy Joe Biden
They hate him because they could not defeat him. They are still trying to win the 2016 election (it's kind of silly when you think about it). What they are doing now to win an election that ended three years ago is a gross abuse of the power, similar to what you-know-who did in Germany to take control before WW2 without the murders (that we know of).
This is nothing new, however. They were talking about impeachment before he even took office. They have treated EVERY republican president in my lifetime as an illegitimate office holder. They were attempting to go down this path with Bush, but at some point sane voices prevailed (and thus the birth of "moveon").
The phone transcript sounded to me like Trump was trying to get to the bottom of REAL outside interference in the 2016 election, which naturally the dems don't want on display.
...you can't beat him, so you slander him.
Lindsey Graham needs to bring that prosecutor from Ukraine that Biden had fired and question him. Biden's 2 lawyers even met with him after he was fired and said they knew that everything they spread about him was false. John Solomon has these 2 lawyers documents about this. Biden spread lies on him and he knows they were lies. Trump needs to get another FBI Director. Ray is no help in stopping the corruption.
I think Joe Biden is a decent fellow, kind of like Jimmy Carter on a personal level. But, they are both total boobs and unfortunately, duped by the leftist Democrat Party.
As I have posted before, had Biden been the Dems' 2016 nominee he would be president today. Fortunately for us, our great nation, the Dems blew it and now that train has left the station.
