Louisiana Tech football Held Hostage - Day 3

3-4 paragraphs today at the end of a Scott Ferrell story about NCAA's elimination of 2-a-day workouts. Skip quotes came from a press release prior to opening practice.

Disappointed!

If Gannett is going to print a newspaper while forcing everyone to also go to their websites, then space allocation should be firm and fair.

Does anybody know where Jack Abraham transferred to? Just curious.

We better hope J'Mar Smith can stay healthy for 13 regular season games (including CUSA CG). Elijah Walker will be a true freshman, and Westin Elliot threw more interceptions than TD passes last year at a community college. I would say we are woefully unprepared at backup QB.

Tech Hostage Day 7 for The Times. That's a full week without a single Tech article in the Shreveport Gannett paper.

More LSU and NWST today.

But Tech's SID shares half of the blame because all they've written is 1 press release on the team this past week.

That's what most of the NWST articles in The Times are like today's was... an article written by NWST's SID. The Times can't print a Tech press release if Tech doesn't send them one to print (by their 7 PM deadline :rolleyes4:).

However, Tech deserves better treatment than that. Between the two North Louisiana Gannett newspapers, Tech should have a full-time beat writer publishing at least one article per day.
