Was a mix of not playing them, them playing a game already, first game without Cobe, and FAU shooting well from 3.

I think it was more about missing our PG. how many points off turnovers did FAU end up with? It was 19 at the half.
They played Jr perfectly and it got to him. I think it’ll be hard to stop both Jr and Crawford. Might get one, but tough to get both.
Archibald did a good job filling in.

Why stop at the wire? Let them play past it two or three times.
NT up 55-53 with 1:12 left.

Good point. I'm coming to your town tomorrow morning.
Re: 3/11: Quarterfinal vs. FAU
NT 57-53 with 50.4 left.
And Jeff Jones didn't have his team foul and NT scored after running off 26 seconds. I understand why ODU fans get frustrated with him.
NT about to win this one.
Mean Green 61-55
Re: 3/11: Quarterfinal vs. FAU
UNT wins.
I'm glad UNT won. We know them much better than we know ODU. Also, this means 3 of the 4 teams in the semi's are from the west.

That’s huge!
Re: 3/11: Quarterfinal vs. FAU
I have been saying it for 2 years now. Crawford is the most complete player I have seen at Tech since Robert Godbolt. It is not normal for a 6’6 dude to rip a rebound in traffic, go coast to coast and make a perfect feed for a three in the corner.
He does EVERYTHING well

Didn't expect him to be on the bench unless he was about to be back. Big plus if he can just hold his own. Needs a game or so just to knock the rust off.

And he has the right court demeanor to go with it. That's an area where our Freshman of the Year needs to improve because it is still way too easy to frustrate him.
Re: 3/11: Quarterfinal vs. FAU
I won't lie.... I am nervous about UNT... Coby is our engine and we are going to miss him. Crawford stepped up last night. They had Lofton frustrated. We can still do this, but it is going to take every single player playing their best game!
Re: Crawford Powers Bulldogs to Semifinals
Great effort last night. We need the same this afternoon. We are 1 point favorites. On to the championship game!
