Go back and read what I said, oh all knowing one. I never said there were no interviews only that interviewing and news reporting aren't the primary function of talk radio. Do you disagree with that? Even so, I didn't realize we were talking about a show on the level of Dan Patrick. The last I checked Fox and Co. were on the level of your generic sports talk show that you find in any metropolis, USA whose primary purpose is opinion radio.

In between all the opinions I like to hear comments from the other side.
Everybody had their facts together. Ed pulled out the only evidence we needed to hear. . . the two travel budgets of Tech and USLULL. The show was very one-sided in reply to the columnist and won easily by the Tech side. I'd like to see a little more banter on the subject from the writer, especially when he's being piled on. That's why I'm disappointed I didn't hear an interview with him.
As Bluecrew has told us, he tried to reach the columnist. That's all I needed to know.

Shame on you dirty we aint Dan Patrick but I wouldnt say were generic:icon_wink:. We do however have at least one guest for each hour everyday....99% of the time.

I haven't posted on this subject in some time. I think the all the talk about Tech playing nlu or ulm or whoever they are now days and how Tech should come back to the sunbelt are a sign of fear from both parties. Fear that we are about to get back on track after beign derailed for so long. The only way they think they can hold us back is to limit us. What we really need is for Tech people to begin to come to the games again and finish reworking our athletic department. Once we begin to back Tech and get some wins under our belt, these rediculous thread will go away.
