The travel sucks but for the most part the superior revenue we recieve from the WAC makes up for the travel $$$$ difference. Don't forget the Sunbelt stretches from Denver to Miami (2).

No, that's just for basketball and Denver is leaving. The basketball revenue from WKU and OOC BCS wins is helping in the revenue area.

I know...I'm just saying they aren't that bad these days. From what I understand, the only reason they weren't invited was Tech's dislike for them. Had they been invited, the WAC East would have formed.

No, just like the SEC has an East and West Divisions, the WAC would have gone to East and West Divisions. Sounds right to me...

I see what you are saying...To alieve your fears, it would still be called the WAC...with East and West divisions. Hell, we could call them North and South becaus without ULM, it isn't going to happen.

Besides, what's so bad about saying "The WAC East." It doesn't sound that bad and even a Western region has an Eastern half.

I don't know what they are talking about. Everyone called Tech, SMU, Tulsa, and Rice the E-WAC before. Some of you guys are just splitting hairs with Raider because he is a Sunbelt fan.
