Band of Pride Fundraiser

It's not a "facebook petition," though we greatly appreciate the support. I started the event to get a few of the band students (and others) to meet up tomorrow night to write a physical, formal-ish petition. I can't and won't do it by myself because the petition isn't just for me, but for the whole band, so I wanted everyone's input. I'm also very bad at writing. lol.
Again, thank you for all the support! I'll have something available for y'all to sign if y'all would like to show up.

Pathetic. I can't make the game but I will buy a bowl ticket and give it to a BOP member if that helps

The Regal Blues are in the proces of raising money to attend the bowl game. We actually began planning several weeks ago, however, we have not heard back from the athletic administration with any logistical information in order to proceed with making any final decisions.

Normally, I would agree, but we don't have much time to get this done. If we get to send the whole band, we'll need to know this weekend so we can prepare for our performances. I will be contacting Robken tomorrow to get all the facts I can.

Point is, it should never had been a thought.

If we need another plane for the band, then we could have more room for DONORS to BUY tickets on the Team plane!

I just don't get this. After arrangements were made for the players and coaches, the administration should have put plans in place to send every single spirit group. The cheerleaders, the Regal Blues, and certainly the Band of Pride.

Ok, with all the attention this has been getting, the "small" get together isn't quite small anymore. I cannot let this happen in the band room. Does anybody know a place on campus we can do this?

Edit: We're doing this for all spirit groups now. It's not fair for any of us to be left out.

I have a question. Where the hell is Jim Robken? Isn't this his responsibility to procure funding for HIS band to travel? At first I was really angry, but now I am wondering. We've discussed this before...If the band doesn't have funding, isn't this on HIM? Maybe you need a petition of another sort.
