I also think a great many people are underestimating just how many Republicans will stay home if Trump is the nominee. It could be said that if you choose to stay home than you are basically helping Hillary get elected, but it could also be said that if you vote for Trump knowing a lot of Republicans and Independents will stay home if Trump is the nominee you are as much to blame. I know a lot, and by a lot I mean literally most of my friends and coworkers, who wont vote for him. And you know what the sad thing is? This is the year that many of them, independents, would have actually voted Republican. Personally I will vote for whomever is the Republican nominee unless it is Trump in which case I will vote Libertarian.
You sound like the establishment 5 months ago when they made him sign a pledge. If Trumps loses he will form a third party. Trump will bring in more Democrats and Independents than he will lose to whiners like yourself. I have had to hold my nose when voting for Republicans in the past and for the first time since 1984, I am excited to vote for someone. I for 1 am happy as a pig in shit that Donald is kicking their ass.
No donald is not a conservative, so what, we haven't had a conservative since Reagan. If he does the major things he is campaigning on then its a win for all of America. I can promise you one thing, he wont be as inept as the current idiots we send to washington. I hope when he reviews the countries finances, he determines it is in the best interest of the country to reduce spending also.
Democrats and the RINO's suck, VIVA REVOLUTION!
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Democrats, RINOs and Trump all have one thing in common: They all think they can make big government work because they will be smarter than those other idiots. Reagan had it right when he said government IS the problem. Trump doesn't believe that.

That's exactly right.

I'm not whining at all. I'm just telling you the way it is. It's not relevant whether you like it or not.
Trump voters are the same as the Obama voters. They are just voting for a repackaged version of hope and change. They are being duped, you included.
As far as reducing spending goes, wake up. Government will continue to grow at an alarming rate. This guy thinks government is the solution if we just have the right man in charge. Him. I've got news for you, it's not. Our founding fathers were right and Ronald Reagan was right. Hell Trump even wants to keep the Obamacare mandate. What a joke.

All he has todo is the following to be a success:
1. Build the wall and deport some illegals. The ones that get deported are never allowed to return. You will see a max exodus. He also needs to stop the HB1 visas that allow US companies to hire foreigners to reduce the SS and Medicare tax receipts. It's cheaper to hire a foreigner because companies don't match taxes.
2. Repeal Obamacare. He has said he will use free market policies for insurance and Medicare for those who can't afford it. It can't get any worse, my premiums are now almost 18k a year while before it was 6k.
3. End political correctness and ban Muslims until they can be vetted.
That would make me happy. He may try to do some liberal policies but we still have a congress to stop that.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Cruz and Rubio are also promising to do all that PLUS they are conservatives. collis, if Ronald Reagan was 45 years old and running against Trump, who would you vote for?

Reagan because he was an alpha male. The problem is I do not trust Rubio at all since he is a puppet of the Rino establishment. I could go for Cruz but he won't last past Super Tuesday when he doesn't win a state. Trump/Rubio is what we will get and hopefully Trump selects Cruz for the Supreme Court. That would make for some fun hearings.
I am so jaded against the Republican Party because they have zero balls and won't fight. I want an Alpha male president and only Trump fits the bill this year.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Rush Limbaugh said Cruz is the closest thing to Reagan he's seen in his lifetime and probably will ever see in his lifetime. He's the guy we've waited for! I can't believe we are going to lose him to a Clinton-loving douchebag who wants universal healthcare. :D

cscollis: Can you give us your definition of alpha male?
P.S. Urban Dictionary has some great definitions that I think apply to Trump perfectly. :D

Republicans, evangelicals, independents, Reagan Dems and constitutionalist aren't staying home this time. NO WAY IN HE$$. They have finally learned their lesson the last 8 years of staying home and thereby electing Obama. It was their fault as well as enamored and enabled white women believing a lie and wanting a government sugar daddy IMHO!
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Listen to the Democrats, they will tell you who the alpha male is (and who they fear):

Only because you are the opposite of Reich... and Cruz (not Trump) is the opposite of Obama. I thought he nailed it.
I would have been shocked if Reich said Kasich would do the most harm to Socialism.
