Didn't include the testing rate since apparently it's different than what I calculate. Might do it once a week just to show the trend.
Appears we had nearly 1,000 new cases over night. There was an article on a local news blog saying the increase in cases this past week rivaled the worst weeks back in March. Not good...
I believe LDH uses the rate based over a number of days, not the grand total rate. And the 1,666 case reduction probably hasn't been included since those were not new cases and were not tied to specific dates.Quote:

Faced with a runaway pandemic within the state, Abbott gave them the green light to mandate businesses but not people. Really, Abbott’s allowance puts businesses in worse position than if the mandate directly applied to people, but he has been a terrible leader in this.
