Re: 12/6 @ Marshall (C-USA Championship game)
If you hold Marshall to 25, you should win. We played not to lose after we got up. Horrible special teams play and enigmatic time-out philosophy. No killer instinct. We should be 11-2.

Exactly, you actually understand what just happened. They kept chipping away with easy field goals, sooner or later they were going to punch another touchdown in there.

why was kicking a fg ever an option just punt

If he can beat a decent bowl team I will officially eat some crow.
You are too easily impressed. Guess Carter and obummer are impressive prezzes too.
Re: 12/6 @ Marshall (C-USA Championship game)
If Marshall beat us by 30+ pts, I would agree with all you "happy"/"good season" people. We should have won that damn game!!!!!! I blame HORRIBLE play calling in the second half (might throw the second quarter in there as well).
Oh well, maybe we get to play in a bowl game? Lets see how we F this up like we did in 2012. I was hoping for the Dallas game, after this HORRIBLE loss, probably be Hawaii or somewhere else I can't go to.

Well the real problem was running to the sideline on 3rd and a couple. It is four down territory. Fall forward two times and get the first. Instead we run a junk play and attempt a prayer.

Thats what you do when you are being hopelessly outcoached.
Re: 12/6 @ Marshall (C-USA Championship game)
I was thinking just test cody's arm and force an interception on the 1

Yep, the best option at that point was to punt and pin the inside the 20
