Am I the only one that thinks the support beams look a little "spindlely" for the structure it holds up? I know it is very adequate, but it kinda reminds me of a stork. Like Joe Tex once sang "Skinny Legs and All"!

The support beams definitely look "skinny" to me, and I concur 100% with your "stork look" analogy. Will they be covered before the project is completed?

Texas A&M and Houston fans were saying the same thing about the steel support beams used in their stadium projects. I am not certain about the technology involved and what advances have been made with steel, but it certainly looks different than what you would have seen 25 years ago.

Back when Champ967 was a youngster beams were thick.

What the construction engineers on our new JAS Pressbox upgrade really need is YOU GUYS telling 'em how to do it. :laugh:

I'm sure a couple of them are reading this thread right now and saying to themselves, "DAMN!!!.......I didn't realize those support beams were so skinny." :icon_roll:
