The drought is horrible up here and this is an unusually hot summer for NW Arkansas.

Pictured above is a solar prominence that erupted in 2002 July, throwing electrons and ions out into the Solar System.

The site says we are entering a period of slowing down in the number of sunspots.

Get used to it, brother. 2005 was the hottest year on record on our distressed planet. As in ever in recorded history. 2006 is on pace to break last year's record. Im sure its just an aberration. :laugh:

Too bad the increase in global temps started at the turn of the century, almost in direct corelation with the industrial revelotion, and EXPLODED in the late 70's as countries such as China began mass fossil fuel consumption... Sun spots. LOL.

I might worry about my own reputation if I were you.

What I want to know is why would anyone laucnch a boat at that boat ramp? Looks tough to navigate a boat in reverse around those rocks. Major boat damage written all over them.

Chris dissapated because the sun spot that was supporting it retreated. Had nothing to do with unexpected wind shear.
