But it's not going to be Trump, he doesn't have enough Republican support to get the nomination. I don't think the others will have to get 40% of the Hispanic vote. I think they only say that because W had 40% when he won.

I hear everyone talking about how he's an economic genius. Then let him be an advisor on economic policy. Others say he can't be bought. That's to ignorant to even comment on. This is not the man you want picking a Supreme Court Justice.

I like the people here that support him, but with nothing good to say about why Trump is so popular, I'll refrain from continuing beyond saying that every single trope, stereotype, meme, etc. about both the right and left is front and center.

The GOP doesn't need 40% of the hispanic vote. If they did they would pick Cruz or Rubio or both. They just need all of their base, most independents and the white middle class women vote.

Besides any combo of Trump/Cruz (added TeaParty and Hisp vote), Trump/Rubio (Fla, women and Hisp), Trump/Carson (Conservatives, blacks and women votes), Trump/ White (Reagan Dems, women and Indy votes) or Trump/Fiorina ( conservative and women votes) type of ticket wins the Presidency hands down all day long. The Socialist Democrat Party doesn't stand a chance unless they steal it.

So many wrong-headed comments I don't know where to begin. :laugh: Just remember, virtually all of the wingnut talking heads were saying Romney was going to win by a landslide. If you think a Trump/Cruz combo has a better chance to win the presidency than Romney, you are more delusional than I thought.

I see you have been reading "Crooks and Liars" again as you get your talking points from that blog, which bleeds ignorance. Their readers are a can of mixed nuts. Admittedly, I know very little about immigration policy. But, I do know that policy or lack of enforcement of existing law that leads to the murder of any American by illegal immigrants is bad policy. Such murder(s) should result in the deportation of all illegal immigrants in order to protect Americans. That sounds harsh, but protecting Americans is all that should matter. Illegal immigrants are, by definition, committing criminal acts.

Liberals don't like traditional America and are trying to fundamentally transform it. I think they say that out loud though. Our problem as conservatives is that too many people know this and still vote for them. Another problem is that most Republican politicians are not standing up to fight it. I see no way out. We will go bankrupt and split up like the Soviet Union did... which will hurt in the short term, but might turn out to be a good thing in the long run.... back to the Constitution.

The only way we are going to stop illegal immigration is if they start voting for conservative ideology. It will come to a screaching halt then.
