That's hard to believe based on his unfavorables. And it's going to get worse when the media gets after him. And Hillary will not be as polite as the Republican candidates. She's going to challenge his knowledge on the issues in the debates.
T1 keep telling yourself Trump is a terrible candidate that wont win the general. Trump is bringing more voters than McCain and Romney combined at this point. Did you notice that more people have voted in the primary for Trump than any previous candidate running including Obama. People are pissed and they want America to revert back to common sense instead political correctness. Yes, Rubio and Cruz would be the more conservative candidates but you can't trust them on immigration.
I will probably vote for Trump but my wife and kids are voting Cruz. So I am down 3 to 1.

Moderate or more conservative democrats will not vote for Cruz and don't want to vote for Bernie. If the religious right will not hold their noses and vote for Trump, then they deserve a liberal supreme court among other things.Quote:

Justin Amash, probably the most Libertarian member of congress, recently endorsed Cruz. This is a big step towards getting Libertarians to come out and vote Republican instead of sitting it out. How do we know Trump will nominate a conservative for SCOTUS? He wouldn't even know what kind of character/attributes to look for. Are there advisers on this kind of thing? Who would be advising him?
