Ruston Eating Places

I ate at Newks in Tyler a few weeks back. Better than McCallisters IMO. I think it would do well in Ruston.

I believe I read in TNS that they are building a Newks in Monroe and maybe expand into West Monroe

Dawgpix is a little anal when it comes to repeats and echos. Watch for posts where he makes a great point or answers a question then come back with a similar response a few posts later. That always gets him riled up.

Actually I had heard there was going to be a Newks in the North Village whatever it's called. Don't know if that's reliable or not. I think we discussed it a tiny bit way, way back in this thread.

Have had several discussions over the years with various friends who thought the old Shoney's would have been a great spot for a McAllister's; but no one would bite the dust and put one in. There's a Walgreen's on that spot now, so we'll have to find a better place for it.
