allow me to add: as a Christian, i have never taken a candidate's Christianity into account when voting. there is political capital in saying what they think Christians want to hear, so i can't trust a politician who makes their christianity a campaign point. i vote for the person who i think will act most in line with the way i think the government ought to be run, and that is how everyone should vote. when trump pulls stunts like this, it just confirms my sense that i cannot trust him to do anything other than whatever he thinks is best for dj trump.Quote:

Politicians are politicians. But, heretofore, Trump has not really been a "politician." I say "hinting" because he has NOT yet come out and made any definitive policy statements on the Ukraine war. When/IF he does then you can take it to the bank because he has always done what he said he would do. I hope his lack of any definitive policy is because he is still considering what his actions will be come January, 2025 when he is again Commander-in-Chief. I hope he has some advisors counseling him on why it is important that Putin fails in Ukraine.

Wow! some breaking news about proven voter fraud in Georgia and in Wisconsin during the 2020 POTUS, and Senate races in Ga., election. 386,000 unverified votes, most from heavy Dem counties, including Fulton County, home of the crooked DA Fani Willis. Finally, the Georgia board of elections is investigating the 2020 election(s) and are stunned by what they have learned. I'm not surprised, I posted on this forum repeatedly the 2020 POTUS and both Georgia senate races were stolen.
The Dem election official in Milwaukee County has been forced to resign, apparently to avoid prosecution, for her 2020 voter fraud which handed Wisconsin to Biden by less than 20,000 votes. There are incriminating emails that spell it all out.
Pennsylvania was stolen too, as were a couple of other states. Just watch for the evidence to be presented there too soon.

Nikki Haley is still trying to thwart Trump's WH run. She and her advisors will be attending the GOP conference on fund-raising and will try to convince donors to withhold money for his general election campaign. Haley garnered 22% of the vote in the Indiana primary this weekend, Trump got 76%, and 2% went to various other candidates. Naysayers point to this as trouble for Trump in the general election as Haley supporters will not vote for him. Biden is suffering similar such votes with others getting chunks of the vote in the dems' primaries, with Biden also getting around 70% in most of them.
The bigger issue is Haley still campaigning against Trump, and this stunt of trying to deny funding from donors is beyond stupid. Haley is burning bridges and now has no future as a GOP candidate. Those 76% Trump supporters will never support Haley in 2028 or at any time. Not saying she was a great candidate or someone we conservatives should have gotten behind in the future, just it is STUPID for her to pull this stunt. She is done, she has no future as a GOP candidate. Had she conducted her campaign with class and character, sticking to the issues, then suspended her campaign with grace, with an immediate endorsement of Trump, like Vivek smartly did, Haley would still be a viable candidate for a run in 2028. Not anymore...she is toast.

It includes tariffs, building back American industry, especially heavy industry, energy independence, closing the border!!!, protecting labor unions, but with an eye on actually serving the needs of the workers and not being a funding source for the democraps, some regulations on the stock market's "secondary market" as that does harm the average, retail investor, and other provisions all designed to help the middle class.
One of the pencil-neck CNBC reporters lamented these issues used to belong to the Democrat Party, but the Republicans are now the ones advancing policies designed to help American families and Americans, and as a result, America itself.

Supreme Court is expected to release a ruling today on presidential immunity. I don't think POTUSs should have blanket immunity. Bill Clinton committed treason, obummer sold machineguns to Mexican cartels, and the Biden crime family, and Joe himself, are guilty of multiple crimes. This ruling will have an immediate impact on Trump, but he is not guilty of any real crimes, they are all bogus, and will be either overturned or dismissed in time.

Judge has finally dismissed the fake documents case against Trump. Judge Cannon did so based on the unconstitutional appointment of that POS Jack Smith as special counsel. Anyway, one of the bogus cases against Trump is gone, done! thankfully. Another win for Trump and America.

At one of his recent rallies, Trump mentioned his campaign advisors wanting him to tone down his rhetoric and stick to policy issues. He asked the HUGE crowd what they thought of that, and they generally cheered him on in his usual name-calling, etc. But, again, this is NOT about those who attend his rallies or are firmly in his camp. This is about those 4-5% of true UNDECIDED VOTERS in the seven swing states. Many people are turned off by "childish" name-calling so why make it harder than this has to be?

CNN reports the Secret Service exchanged gunfire with the shooter ON THE GOLF COURSE where Trump was playing.
Both report that Trump is safe.

Now police...this is occurring on Long Island, New York...are saying the reports are false. No explosions, no explosives, no nothing. Yet! they evacuated the people standing in line to enter Trump's rally. One report says police were using a bomb-sniffing dog making routine checks on the street at the entrance to the rally, and a panic set in, people hollering about a bomb. What is VERY clear from video, the police were urging people to leave the line. Ushering people by the hundreds, and probably thousands, to leave the rally. Was this the ploy? If Trump gets all of his proposed tax cuts, that will amount to $10 trillion of tax savings for American taxpayers (individual and corporate), this over a 10-year period. Like most of you, I am generally OK with any and all tax cuts. But...
Unless there are corresponding spending cuts in the Federal budget this will just further swell the bloated national debt. Trump's tariffs, which EVERY economist (not on the Soros' payroll) agrees will work and will raise right at $3 trillion over that same 10-year period. So, that reduces the "Trump tax cuts" deficit to $7 trillion, over 10 years. We, and again, EVERY economist (not on Soros' payroll) know that Trump's plans will greatly enhance the overall US economy, by some estimates, to the tune of $5 trillion of revenue to the US Treasury, over 10 years. So, now "Trump's tax cuts" deficit is down to $2 trillion, over 10 years. Surely, Congress can find $2 trillion+ in spending cuts, over 10 years, er, right?
Meanwhile, despite the blatant lies of the Left, it will be the middle class that stands to benefit the most from "Trump's tax cuts." Okay, yes, some millionaires and some (many) corporations will also benefit...so? If you're a struggling middle class family who will greatly benefit from Trump's plan, why should you care if someone a little wealthier than you also benefits? Look at it this way, the middle class encompasses a large swath of American families, in a net wealth/income range. If you are better off than your neighbor, higher income, more money in the bank than them, would you expect them to complain because each of you are getting a tax break? Of course not! So, don't worry about those better off than you benefitting when you yourself are too.
