If Boise State can come up with 1.75 million to buy out the Ark St coach's contract then pay him 1.3 million a year being a non-BCS school. Then why can't we come up with 2 million to buy out Holtz?
Please tell me you don't seriously believe that our pockets are deeper than Boise States. Please....PLEASE, tell me you do not actually believe we have the funds outbid Boise AND fire Holtz. While firing that was up hack could potentially end this shit show, we don't have that kind of dough. I hate to bust your bubble.

Wow! had to tell him 3 times.
You're wrong about that. We aren't keeping Holtz because we have to.
In the end, it's foolish because we'll lose more than the 500K that we'll save by keeping him around, but if our leadership was pushing to buy him out, they would have the money. They are content to let me stay another year. They've "bought" his excuses.
I do not think that we have as much money as Boise, but I do think we can come up with 2 million to buyout Holtz's contract. Boise State is not rich, they do not have BCS money, they have more money than us, but not by much. I don't expect us to pay a coach 1.3 million a year like Boise, but I expect us to pay 2 million to get rid of a cancer like Holtz. Your post is the perfect example of why we are a loser program, we are just poor little ole Louisiana Tech with no money. I used Boise as an example to show that we can get 2 million to get rid of this cancer called Skip Holtz.
Any talk of buying out the Holtz's contract must also include what it would cost to buy out all of his assistants as well. Does anyone know what that what cost?
What if Holtz comes up with a good recruiting class? Would that stop the firing talk if he signed a few 3 star recruits? We have 15 commits before Christmas. Remember, we had one coach that never started recruiting until January.
