I emailed them at 4:30am and they answered at exactly 8am. They only are for members and I don't want to rent a room. Great customer service, though. They congratulated me on my son and were very prompt in their reply. No complaints from me. If I lived there, I would join.

Overall, what is the best restaurant in Ruston, bar none? Back during the Stone Ages, if you wanted to treat a girl to a nice, relaxing meal, you have to go out of town. What about now?

If you're talking about nice restaurants, it would be 102 bistro probably. Maybe RAW for sushi. BEST food was at Blue Light until they closed (hopefully temporarily).

We ended up going to 102 Bistro. I paid for 8 people and the bill was high, but not as high as some I have been to. Great place to eat!

Not Ruston, but this last week, I went to The Pelican Club in Galveston. It is a private club behind Guido's and run by Guido's. Talk about AMBIANCE! and the food is unbelievable. One of my Board members is a member, so he gets us in. It is the 5th time I have eaten there and NEVER disappointed. It is very hidden in the back, but when you walk through those doors, you know you are somewhere special. I (my company) paid for 11 people and it was around $900 - without the drinks. We all pitched in for the drinks, since I can't put that on the company card. I think that was around $300, but we have a lot of hearty drinkers. :icon_wink:
