I just want a little rest for the two guys carrying a lot of the load. The OFFENSE has played amazing. The problem is the defense. There is only one problem tonight. The defense. We know dude. No is one actually upset about the offense. The defense is obviously the issue. We know. Sadly we all know.

That's why there is two of them. They get plenty of rest. Dixon has 19 carries. That's not too much by any means. But I like Hunter Lee too. I think he is great. There are times when we really don't get him enough carries. I think the last 2 games are great examples. When Dixon and Holley are just running over and around people at will I'm not worried about it. Plus, Lee is turning into a nice little WR.

My comment about giving Hunter the ball was simply to spread it out more...he is a player, I have no problem with our offense, they are the only reason...ONLY reason we have but one loss. I agree our defense needs to get fixed BAD!

The optimist in me says our defensive coordinator played a preseason style defense today and his saving all the good stuff for Utah St next week.

we won, it was ugly. if we do that 3 more times i will be happy, happy happy. 12-1 i could work with

This game reminded me of that Rice game where they rushed to Choudrant and back and we could't stop them. I think the three worst defensive games in my time as a Tech Fan:

1. Rice game in early 2000's-bunch of smart guys running at will.
1A. Tonight, bunch of FCS players running at will.
3. UCF, atleast this was Dante Culpepper running at will.

Never thought I would be disgusted with a win.

Unfair - offense looks good - Sp. Teams good most of the time; 2 out of 3 ain't bad - but we need the third to show in the rest of the season.

My vote is to play the back-up WRs on safety and CB duty...also maybe Spangle can sit up top with Franklin; then every time D lets the opponents back in we get to see some beat down in the box :argue:

I saw games 1 and 3 in person and saw game 1A. tonight on the internet. All disgusted me, but I have to say this one took the cake.

Dykes in the post game interview says we been dormant the last two weeks in forcing turnovers.

Sonny says...we are all down...we can't keep playing like this and win.

Here comes Sonny to speak. Let me paraphrase:

We knew we were going to get everyone's best shot. We survived. We can't score 62 points every week and expect to win.
The Defense couldn't force any turnovers.
Defense is dormant. Can't stop on 3rd down.
The defense is down. Coach's are down. We are going to have to play better defense or we will get beat. We survived but we won't survive much longer.

Yes. Some of you seem to forget that Josh Scobee had two bad games similar to Nelson's during his senior year. I think he bounced back pretty well.
