A new Hill-HarrisX poll found a shocking 32% of black male voters would vote for Donald Trump over a generic Democratic opponent next fall.
Big League Politics reported noted that The Hill's reporting of the poll emphasized an "overwhelming majority of black voters" would support a Democrat in 2020 over Trump.
But the 32% figure represents a substantial rise in support compared to the 2016 election in which Trump receiving just 13 percent of the vote of black males, according to a CNN exit poll showed

Joe Biden’s presidential campaign is bleeding cash. And a big reason why appears to be an antiquated, higher-end approach to electoral politics that the former vice president has adopted.
Biden’s team spent more than $923,000 on private jets during the third quarter of 2019, according to recently filed Federal Election Commission data. The expenses, all made to the company EJCR, LLC Dba Advanced Aviation Team, represented a major chunk of change—accounting for roughly one out of every 16 dollars the campaign raised.
It’s not uncommon for candidates to lean on private jets as they crisscross the country in an effort to keep a schedule packed with speeches, rallies, and debates. But a review of Biden’s expenditures suggest that a good deal of what he’s spending money on currently involve efforts to simply raise more money.
The former vice president spent more than $230,000 on “fundraising consultants” during Q3; nearly $500,000 on direct mail; and major chunks of change on high-end hotels in cities that serve as donor hubs but aren’t centrally located in early-voting states. During the third quarter period, the Biden campaign spent more than $20,000 at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City; more than $14,000 at the Coronado Island Marriott in San Diego; more than $4,400 at the Hotel Jerome Auberge in Aspen; more than $10,500 at the W Hotel in Los Angeles, and more than $3,000 at the Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho.
While the campaign’s major expenses involved traditional campaign functions like payroll (which was nearly $9 million), office rentals, and digital advertising, the campaign also spent heavily on consultants—including several big-named aides.
During Q3, the Biden campaign spent $228,378 on research consultants and $150,400 on “strategic consultants.” The firm Anzalone Liszt Grove Research Inc., run by longtime Biden pollster John Anzalone, received more than $122,000 for polling. And two well-known Biden advisers, Bruce Reed and Anthony Blinken, received $35,000 and $10,500 respectively for “policy consulting.” [/COLOR]
Asked what type of policy work he was doing, Reed told The Daily Beast only: “Domestic.”
Collectively, the expenditures have taken a toll on the Biden campaign’s bottom line and raised questions about its long-term viability. Overall, Biden currently has less than $9 million cash on-hand after taking in roughly $15.7 million during Q3 and spending $17.6 million during that same period.

Now pundits, from both sides, are saying Sanders is the leader...the clear leader. Biden still leads in the national poll(s) but now the thought is many people are just deferring to Biden when polled because they are confused about their choices and/or are hoping some obvious leader emerges. In other words, when polled, the easy choice to say is "Biden," but in reality many of those voters are not keen on Creepy Joe.
Polling is an interesting dynamic in itself. We covered polling/focus groups in a marketing class I took. I still have a book on it I refer to at times. The "science" of it marries statistical analysis with psychology.
There was a dem strategist on FOX and he says Sanders is a legit candidate, not just some temporary blip on the radar. His run against Krooked Killary and the crooked DNC last time etched him as a strong candidate. The "establishment" candidate is Biden, but he's such an eff-up, gaffe-ridden, goofy, and creepy, and not to mention he engaged in illegal activity in Ukraine, that his baggage is so heavy that his otherwise easy path to the dem nomination is in doubt. This dem pundit did say that the key demographic blocking Sanders, and helping Biden, in the primaries is older blacks. Black boomers and older Gen X's reject socialism in principle and will lean toward Biden over Sanders.
Sanders is out-raising ($) his opponents and he is locking up the younger voters. I think Sanders and Biden will be the last two standing as the convention approaches.

During Monday’s broadcast of Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show, author Peter Schweizer explained how 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) funneled what he deemed to be “taxpayer money” and “school money” to members of his family.
While discussing his new book, Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite,Schweizer said, “Bernie over the course of his 30-plus years in public office has final huge sums of money to his family. That includes hiring family members even when it was not justified in the Burlington city governments. But more specifically, the 2016 campaign, there was this mysterious media-buying company called Old Town Media that was set up.”
“They funneled $83 million through this media-buying company, which was located in a house on a cul-de-sac in suburban Virginia,” he continued. “Had no website, had no presence whatsoever. That company was run by two of Bernie Sanders’ wife’s friends. When she was asked about her connection or relationship to that firm, she hung up on a local Vermont reporter. So there are various ways taxpayer money, school money other things that have flowed to the family and have made the Sanders family very very wealthy.”
