As you pointed out, he made the sign and tweeted it for the world and our recruits to see. Holtz and TMac allowed him to do it. Do you think the recruits understand what it means? You think our competition is not using it against us?

If a slogan has to be explained to everybody or can be interpreted in ways that you don't want, then it sucks and shouldn't be used.
No matter what flawed reasoning you use, it doesn't negate the fact that "suck" should NEVER be used in a slogan representing Louisiana Tech. That should be unacceptable, and Holtz and McClelland should make sure that slogan is never used to represent Louisiana Tech ever again.
Our S&C coach has displayed very poor judgment on several occasions in just one year at Tech. Tweeting out pics of torn up weight room equipment. Ripping the sleeves off of his polo at the Tulsa game. #EMBRACE THE SUCK and then tweeting it out. If Holtz is gonna keep this guy around, he needs to make sure none of this idiocy ever happens again.
I really don't have a problem with it. I remember a congressman one time accused someone of acting "niggardly." Oh, there was uproar and calls for him to resign. What a racist POS he was! The audacity of him to say that on the floor... or in private. Then they found out that niggardly means "tight wad" or "stingy with money."
But you're right that you shouldn't assume everyone has the same amount of knowledge as you do.
That sign is one huge, negative comment about Tech by our own staff. Extremely poor judgement. Find another way to motivate people that does not represent us so poorly.
"Embrace the grind" would probably be better stated... and he could coin his own phrase.
My wife has a hard time of "embracing the suck". Maybe she doesn't understand the true meaning either.
Denver is embracing the suck.
This may be a new all-time low for a thread on BB&B. Of course, now some dumb ass will come out and say....."and yet, here you are!"
It's all just a dance we do, ain't it?
Now tell us about what Baylor is up to...
