Well, I suppose if you care about Tech you would also care about the quality of the conference we are in. Let me ask it this way...should say, South Carolina leave the SEC? They could jump to the AAC or the Belch, because after all, according to you, WHO CARES about the quality of the conference they are in?

It impacts the CFP payoff for each of the G5 conferences.

Still, can a marginally better bowl record lift the MAC over CUSA for the year after their lousy regular season results? Subject to debate.
Since the Big 12 is last with a 1-5 bowl record this season, does it really matter? The Big 12 isn't going to stop being the Big 12 or a Power 5 just for being last in bowl wins. It doesn't mean the conference sucks, and that goes for CUSA, too. Everyone conference has their good teams and bad teams, and the good teams carry the bad teams. We just have more bad teams than other conferences, but our good teams don't suffer for it. FAU, WKU, LaTech, Marshall, UAB, and Southern Miss receive a lot of respect, but it has nothing to do with their conference wins (conference championships excluded), but everything to do with their out of conference wins.

People who enjoy college football.
But I hear Disney Plus has all the classic princess movies if that's more what you're into.
Re: CUSA underdogs going into bowls
Well USM laid a "golden" egg? Typical CUSA pathetic effort.

Not going to be a good day in USM athletics after the Dunkin’ Dogs put a beat down on the USM men’s team this afternoon at the TAC!

Dawgs will win, but game will be more competitive than the last one.

Did not know that. That sheds a different light on it.

Nah, I prefer Lifetime movies.
Re: CUSA underdogs going into bowls
Actually USM was dominating the game, scoring two TD's, until they lost their QB to an injury.
Interestingly, that win was the first time in Tulane's history (which includes Rose and Sugar bowl appearances) to win two consecutive bowls. Puts our 6-win streak in perspective.

Exactly! USM was dominating until Abraham went out. It seemed to affect the whole team - defense too.

Abraham is such a quitter.:icon_razz:

If he wasn’t he might have a few more bowl wins.
Might challenge for offensive POY once the competition lightens up next year!

MWC is a pretty solid never. They have had no intention of looking east to go the WAC16 route again since TCU left.
