Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
The past month Crigger throws a strike with two strikes and good hitters protecting the plate say THANK YOU!
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
Dornak continues.
Myers doubles to the wall in right. AD wasn't clean coming out of the box.
Lancaster flies to right. No advance.
McLeod grounds to the pitcher. Myers moves to third.
Elliott walks. Nice at-bat to keep the inning alive.
Young walks to load the bases on ball five.
Visit to the mound.
Matulia grounds to first.
Air Force 9-7 after 8.

Well Air Force got to 8 first so it’s looking really grim now. Fingers crossed we’ve got enough left to finish strong
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
Those 3 LOBs hurt. Needed one at a minimum there.
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
Dang it. How many LOB for us this tournament?

Just 7 today including those last 3. 13 last night.
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
Crigger continues.
Tamiya soft single to right. Cue shot.
Joe foul bunt strikeout. #4.
Kulasingam doubles to the wall in left center. Runners at second and third.
Visit from Fouts.
Covin grounds to Elliott who cuts down the runner trying to score. Runners at first and third.
Garcia grounds to Young.
Air Force 9-7 after 8 1/2.
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
It’s apparent that little grounders are far more helpful to the outcome of winning a game than high fly warning track fly ball outs.
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
The guy on 3rd got there on the 2nd out sacrifice. The next two walked. Blame it on #12 for not getting a hit. I know…it’s easier to just throw out the LOB thing.

If you ain't got it good enough, well...
It’s hard to imagine Air Force having a better pitching staff than Tech and better clutch hitters too.
Re: Game Day vs. Air Force
Or you could blame one of the two guys left stranded because they walked rather than getting a hit. :icon_roll:
