No, I'm a LSU alum. However, many of your alums CAN be found at Tiger Stadium on fall Saturday evenings, glued to their TV sets during the NCAA tournament, and/or attending LSU alumni/fan functions. In fact, I'd venture to say that if those same alums actually attended their own school's events, rather than those of that demon seed to the southeast, you guys would have the resources to buy a jumbotron, or draw real interest from CUSA, or not have to worry so much about those damned deer hunters.

Does that make you nervous, or just more pi$$ed off?

The thing is now we play LSU on their terms (and their terms are when they are a national contender and we are down). Why not play us in the 90s when we could have beaten? LSU cannot afford to lose to us and that is why we are screwed.

Yes, Tech has its problems. And most of them are at least partly attributable to the the archaic Long-ist favoritism lsu receives from the legislature and in-state media.

And that does, in fact, pi$$ us off. :icon_mad: What of it?

But you know what really gets ME hot under the collar? Chigger fans who lack the mental capacity to type www.google.com, then type "lsu fan board", and then click "I'm feeling lucky".

I am SO thankful that you are not from Tech. That does explain some things, however, it does not explain why you are on our message board. What do you care what we think?

Not only do you have the people in Louisiana that go to other colleges that hate LSU and love their school but you also have those that like Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas/A&M. 99% is s gross overstatement.

And get 1 thing right...they are not MY tigers and they never will be.

Just want to clarify that you are an LSU-A&M-BR alum. LSUS is a separate school with its own athletics (a point that is lost on most). If you are an LSU-A&M-BR alum, then you SHOULD cheer for your school, just like WE have no reason to.

Plus there is a significant percentage of the population (which most of us cannot identify with at all) which could not care less about any kind of sports.

I live in Shreveport and there are a ton of losers like him here. I thank god that i was raised in Ruston by a Tech professor. There are a ton of TECH grads that pull for lswho over here. Every time I see one of them I ride them till they leave the place. I did not go to TECH or lswho I went to usl. I cannot stand lswho b/c of people like shreve. As soon as I left Lafayette I was back to being a TECH fan. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you suppose Shrevetown and his buddies were happy when Tech beat Alabama and Sean Alexander on the same day the tigers got a butt kicking from Auburn in Tiger Stadium?

Do you reckon the LSU fans were gathered around the TV, rooting for Tech when Malone and Company played Oklahoma in the Sweet Sixteen?

How many LSU fans were happy for Tech when The Bulldogs rallied from behind to beat an Oklahoma State team that featured two future NFL running backs and an NFL wide receiver -- on the same day LSU got smoked at Virginia Tech?

Most LSU fans don't root for Tech, why should Tech fans root for LSU?

Thats a pretty BOLD statement professor to call all LSU fans backwoods dumbasses. Unless I'm miss reading this. I would agree that 99% of the state doesnt care about LSU going to the final four but I will say that more than 50% do.
